We did a P4P season once, I think, and I don't think it turned out great. Or it was a bunch of random fights when somebody was bored. Really odd results that made me feel it wasn't giving a true meaning of P4P. I rather do two divisions that are next to each other myself.

Agreed. The P4P idea is great in theory (having literally everyone & anyone to choose from) but in practice - it really offered up some unfathomable fights... Like Fidel LaBarba or Michael Carvajal fighting the likes of Nikolai Valuev or Vitali Klitchsko - imaging any of the four fight Middleweights would be hard enough...

Call me a traditionalist, but I always favour focusing on the one weight class...

Although we could run a one World Titke option for the weight class below it, we did that before with the Middleweights (and Light Middles).

That would be Featherweight. I think that sounds fair... But we'll go with the majority.

My vote would be for Welterweight or Light Welterweight, but I'd be happy with Featherweight or Pound for Pound.

I don't mind two weights right next to each other. Snake style draft, draft one in each class. Any weight works for me.

p4p1 wrote: 24 Feb 2021, 01:38 In honour of p4p1's (my) return to the sim can I suggest we do a p4p season? It seems that the sim hasn't run a season for a while now, a p4p season would bring it back with a bang. All the biggest names, plenty of great fighters to choose from.
P4P season, gents?
Not sure how it was determined, but decisions must be made, and we must move forward....FW it is!

Locking this....and the next season will be well discussed before decisions are etched in stone.

Thanks to all who are helping move this forward!
