This is a backward step rather than a forward one given that Brook is both smaller and shot.
Depends what Eubanks real goal is. He has already earned millions without really stepping up into world class.
I guess brook will earn him another couple of million, he prob wouldn't get that much more for Canelo.
has he really earned millions tho? I would personally doubt that. sure he's had a few good paydays, but i'd be amazed if he's earned millions.

i can't see ITV paying him loads to fight the ancient AA. groves and degale..... i can't see them being MONSTER six figure paydays. BJS I suppose....
I think he’s earned well, saw him showing off his house on MTV cribs show, very nice, I think he made some smart no risk moves in his career and this Brook fight is another.

I don't know, I have no insider knowledge, but AA was ITV PPV, both fights on the WSS, Degale and also BJS, he must have earned at least a couple of million for those combined, and a few little fights in between to keep his money topped up.
I reckon he has earned to the max while taking minimum risk.
Brook on PPV will be another 6 figure payday, why does he need to chase the big fights? And if Eubank keeps winning they will still b there to cash out.

Coco I'm judging him in the context of his own words. This interview from BM three years ago captures Eubank Jr's stance at the time:
"Eubank maintains that building a legacy is his chief consideration."

Now if that is indeed still the case, he's done an appalling job of it since then - losing to Groves was obviously a set-back, but we're now three years on from that and can any of us say he's done anything towards building a legacy during that time (his prime)? Would beating Brook contribute to that stated goal? No is surely the only answer.

If it is all about the money now I certainly wouldn't knock him for it, but in every interview I've ever read with him he states the opposite.

Probably only Big Chris and maybe Roy even at the fight. Nelson might work it.

Ridiculous fight. Eubank should fight live opponents rather than waste what’s left of his career fighting much smaller totally shot fighters.

Strange career, Kell's had. Masses of talent, and aside from the Porter fight - goes in against guys you know he'll beat, or absolute suicide missions.

Brook was a big welterweight but Eubank is a fornicating huge middleweight and he is in his prime whereas Brook is way passed it and injury plagued after almost 20 years as a pro, can't hold the shots together and his eyes are fucked, he isn't gonna KO Eubank and he won't be able to hold off his bullying for the 12 either, just for the sheer size, style and point in respective careers. This might actually be disastrous for Brook as he may take a prolongued hammering around his fragile eyes for however long it lasts

If it happens, there's no way Brook makes it past the halfway mark. He's smaller and shot.... lethal combination. Eubank would bully him.
