Has it been uploaded yet, I've not seen it? Never liked watching Okolie, he's got the physique and skills but so far his approach has been beyond boring. Willing to give him another chance and hope he has livened up. Love my cruiserweights so don't want a dull one as champeen.

i know it didnt last long. but i was quite impressive with okolie,wasnt alawys taken with him yet, i but i thought he had spring in his step in an out moved well but with speed and reason, timed his punches very well,and took him out, i thought a really good performance

Yeah - I think Shane McGuigan will get the best out of him and make him a better, and more entertaining fighter.

yea agree, thats the one thing i didnt like about okolie he looked akward allways tying up in clinches, also good point about a shane, now he looked ready on the front foot

agree, i actually think he's pretty good and respect how quickly he's been moved, but the polish guy was a total glass chin punch bag. of course he's gonna blast this guy and do what he wants with him, perfect opponent to flatter him

Yeh, Okolie is getting a lot of praise, but it was more that his opponent shouldn’t have been in that ring that night.

He may as well have fought me and knocked me out.

The fight ending quick and because his opponent was having spasms, is what helped.

I think he needs a bit of credit. Most people are very quick to knock him with all of the holding and his ungainly style so he should also get a bit of credit when he wins and looks good.

I agree though the opponent wasn’t too great.

i praise him usually actually so that doesnt really apply......fact is the opponent was awful and we all know how levels work. not like he couldnt aleady blast out a chinny weakling

Both of them got busted for drugs, Cieślak was counted first, then he hit Jeżewski, Nikodem took a knee, referee stopped the fight prematurely.

This doesn't look like a premature stoppage. He seems to jump onto the canvas after taking a punch? Judging by this, we might be lucky and get an early stoppage for Okolie and get him out of the way so we can enjoy the boxing. Nobody wants to have to sit through his Octopus impression.

Awful refereeing as we know. Briedis, who I really like and rate, should have been disqualified for the elbow and for his cornerman leaping about in the ring at the same time as Briedis was lining Glow' up for a knockdown.

The Glowacki who knocked out Huck would beat Okolie. Now I make the Brit the favourite.

Solomon Dacres challenges Christopher Lovejoy – debutant wants first fight against American with 19-0 record

"I am a fighter, he is a talker," says Solomon Dacres who will make his professional debut in the heavyweight division on March 20, live on Sky Sports; Josh Warrington is live on Sky Sports on Saturday.

Solomon Dacres wants to emphatically begin his heavyweight journey by taking on Christopher Lovejoy, who boasts an impressive 19-0 record, in his first fight.

Dacres has turned pro with Eddie Hearn's Matchroom and will fight for the first time on the undercard to Lawrence Okolie's world title shot against Krzysztof Głowacki on March 20, live on Sky Sports.

Dacres, 27, is a former Team GB amateur standout who has experience of sparring Anthony Joshua, Joe Joyce and Daniel Dubois, so is asking for a tough first assignment in his pro career.



"I've told my management team [S-JAM Boxing] I want to make an instant impact and I think fighting someone with a 19-0 record and 19 KOs will do just that," said Dacres.

"He came over last time to fight Dave Allen but the fight wasn't able to materialise so let's see if he'll meet me in the ring on March 20.

"I am a fighter, he is a talker.

"But let's see if Eddie can make this fight as I am sure everyone will be interested to see it."

Lovejoy expressed interest on social media, saying about Dacres' manager Sam Jones: "It sounds like he wants to end his guy's career before it starts."

American contender Lovejoy is undefeated in 19 fights but an element of mystery surrounds his record.

Every one of his fights has been won via stoppage, 17 out of 19 inside the first round.

He is from California but every one of his fights has been in Tijuana, Mexico.

Only one of his former opponents had previously won more fights than they had lost.

Lovejoy signed to fight Allen but the fight fell through in the days prior.

I would love to see Lovejoy lose to a debutant but I think he would want a lot of money to face Solomon as he wouldn't gain much by beating him but has a lot to lose (plus King would want his cut).

Chantelle Cameron Injured, Title Defense is Postponed

Chantelle Cameron’s WBC super lightweight world title defense has unfortunately been postponed after she suffered an injury.

Undefeated Cameron (13-0, 7 KOs) was set to make the first defense of her world title against mandatory challenger Melissa Hernandez on March 20, but the fight is now unable to take place on that date.

Cameron superbly won the title back in October with a dominant victory over Adriana dos Santos Araujo,and also holds victories over the likes of Anahi Ester Sanchez, Anisha Basheel, Jessica Gonzalez and Viviane Obenauf during her career.
