It’s blatantly MTK, hence the location.

All a bit strange. One of FW’s most well known fighters, fighting against a current world champ and not a word seemingly coming from him or his team.
Will the fight likely be on YouTube then? Or does a broadcaster risk some negative headlines and show the MTK show?

Herring vs Frampton: Donnie Nietes to face Orlando Penalba in April 3rd return
Nietes was last seen edging out Kazuto Ioka for the WBO super flyweight title in 2018
Former four-division champion Donnie Nietes is set to end a two-year layoff on April 3rd as part of the newly rescheduled Jamel Herring vs Carl Frampton card. Now, =https://www.asianboxing.info/asian-new ... ng reports that he’ll face unbeaten Panamanian and WBO No. 13-ranked super flyweight Orlando Penalba.
Countryman Albert Pagara, meanwhile, still has TBA in his crosshairs.
The 38-year-old Nietes (42-1-5, 23 KOs) hasn’t seen action since NYE 2018, when he narrowly defeated Kazuto Ioka to claim gold in his fourth weight class. “Ahas” is more than 16 years removed from his last professional defeat and boasts notable wins over Moises Fuentes, Edgar Sosa, and Juan Carlos Reveco.
Penalba (10-0, 2 KOs) doesn’t figure to feature on Nietes’ next list of notable wins. The 27-year-old debuted in 2018 and has exclusively fought in his home country, largely against opponents with losing records. His most recent victory, and first 10-rounder, saw him break Keiver Fernandez’s similarly fluffy undefeated streak.
Whether the aging Nietes can still play a factor in the red-hot super flyweight division remains in question, but barring a truly spectacular decline, he should be way too much for Penalba.
In addition to this, the main event, and Pagara vs TBA, the card also features Zhankosh Turarov vs Tyrone McKenna.

Still no word of a U.K. broadcast partner for this one. Has anyone heard any news?
Given FW has a co promotional deal with Frampton and his promotional company is on the poster it’s weird that it’s not on BT. I wonder if all is well between him and Bob.

Re: Carl Frampton vs. Jamel Herring - 3 April 2021
I think that FW and more particularly Bob are just being the face of this event. We all know the real money behind it is coming from "The Captain" as Bob calls him...maverick23 wrote: ↑10 Mar 2021, 05:12Given FW has a co promotional deal with Frampton and his promotional company is on the poster it’s weird that it’s not on BT. As mentioned before, the fact that MTK are not taking a percentage fee for representing Frampton is very telling...
Re: Carl Frampton vs. Jamel Herring - 3 April 2021
I really would not be surprised if this fight ends up on Youtube - maybe the IFL channel or Frampton's own channel...

How to watch Jamel Herring vs Carl Frampton
Jamel “Semper Fi” Herring’s WBO junior lightweight world title defense against Belfast’s former two-weight world champion Carl “The Jackal” Frampton, on Saturday, April 3 from Caesars Bluewaters Dubai, will stream live and exclusively on ESPN+.
Herring-Frampton will headline a two-bout broadcast beginning at 3pm ET / 12pm PT.
In the 10-round junior welterweight co-feature, undefeated Kazakh star Zhankosh Turarov will fight Belfast native Tyrone McKenna.
Undercard action will stream live on ESPN+ at 1pm ET/10am PT.
“This is a fight that’s been in the works for a very long time, and I expect both Jamel and Carl to be at their best,” said Top Rank chairman Bob Arum. “It’s an even matchup, and I am pleased that fans in the United States can watch it live on ESPN+.”
Herring (22-2, 10 KOs) has made two defenses of the title he won from Masayuki Ito in May 2019, most recently defeating Puerto Rican challenger Jonathan Oquendo via disqualification last September at the MGM Grand Las Vegas Bubble. He was originally scheduled to face Frampton last summer in Belfast, but COVID-19 intervened. Frampton (28-2, 16 KOs), who won world titles at junior featherweight and featherweight, hopes to make history as the island of Ireland’s first three-division world champion. He has won two straight bouts since losing a unanimous decision to Josh Warrington in December 2018 for the IBF featherweight world title. In his lone ring appearance of 2020, Frampton knocked out late replacement foe Darren Traynor in the seventh round.

You’re probably right pal - it’s just that if that’s the case why hasn’t it been announced yet. Only 3 weeks away now and I would have thought they’ll want to promote it properly.ThereByTheGrace wrote: ↑12 Mar 2021, 16:42Sorry yep didnt notice until i was asked the source. Donnie Nietes has had his opponent confirmed for the “Legacy” event on April 3 at Caesars Palace Bluewaters Dubai, UAE. Former four-weight world champion will take on Pablo Carrillo for the vacant WBO International super-flyweight title on the Frampton vs Herring undercard.
It sees Filipino superstar Nietes (42-1-5, 23 KOs) make his highly-anticipated return to the ring, as he prepares to compete for the first time since December 2018.
Nietes has won world titles at super-flyweight, flyweight, light-flyweight and minimumweight during his incredible career, and has a serious challenge in front of him against Carrillo (25-7-1, 16 KOs), who is ranked #8 in the world with the WBA.

Still no word on where this will be shown in the U.K.?
Surely BT can’t be happy having promoted this for the original date whilst their first 2 show headliners have been Khademi/Ahmed and Ball/Gilley.
