Kudos to Lou for speaking his mind.

As for Max Kellerman, there are no words to describe the depths to which he has now sunk.

"That many think Chocolatito won, but the decision went the other way may be the most fitting tribute to Marvelous Marvin Hagler of all."

Seriously Max Kellerman, have you any sense of decency left?

There’s a massive gap between what Max thinks his place in the sport is, and his actual place. He actually thinks saying sh1t like that will make people think of him as the sage historian who’s always got Big Boxing Legacy points to make. He actually thinks he’s profound saying this sh1t. Still the same kid without the self-awareness to know he shouldn’t try to make a fkin rap song. When he was a kid his mom told him every knee jerk thing came out his mouth was really clever, darling, and he’s never got over it.

This is what’s wrong with the sport... So sad. It was an amazing fight though. Don’t lose sight of that.

fornicating awful scorecards. Choco won it clearly.

I had fully intended to bet on choco by decision but forgot to put the bet in. Was cursing myself the entire fight. Thanks boxing.

At the end of the fight, felt like 7-5 or 8-4 Gonzalez. Didn't score on paper, but seem to recall him winning 3 of the first 5 (1 being real tight), 3 of the next 4, and 2 of the last 3, or something like that.

About the 9-3 Estrada judge... It feels like the "Gold Glove" award in baseball. When you get a guy that wins two in a row, it seems like that guy ends up winning many in the next several years that doesn't deserve it (Derek Jeter) unless he severely declines or misses significant time, etc. Voters get put in this lull where they just default. Seems like this could've happened to our judge buddy here. Not a lot to choose from in many of those rounds, so he just defaults to the champ... which means he shouldn't be a judge.

Scoring fights isn't the easiest thing in the world, but actually being a professional boxing judge probably *is* the easiest job in the world. Are they subject to any meaningful quality control check at all? They could literally flip coins to score each round, and at the end of the day, they gave the score they gave and you all just have to accept it. "Hey guys, 120-108 is how I saw the fight, and I'm a professional judge and you're not."

In retrospect, I can see it even or even an Estrada win. Don’t agree with it at all but I can see it. Giving the 12th to Estrada was ridiculous though. Choc had him on the brink and sealed the win.

Another robbery.

I picked Estrada to win, but surprisingly for me he got owned. I had it 116-112 for Gonzalez. The 117-111 score for estrada was outrageous.

Gonzalez pushed the action, took a huge early-middle part of the fight and finished stronger.

Estrada won the 1st and at least 3 of those late middle rounds. He got the better of it in 11 and i thought the 2nd round too

Thats 6 rounds.

Gonzalez was the aggressor but Estrada landed more of the clean shots which makes it tougher to score

Major props to roman he looked like he was fading down the stretch and dug deep in rd 12

Gonzalez was more effective in the majority of the rounds. Gonzalez never looked bothered by Estrada's shots, while Estrada noticeably felt Gonzalez' punches on a couple of occasions, including the final round.

There must be the third one. Choco must get what he deserves. Hopefully it'll be soon enough for Choco not to decline, as he is older.

I thought Roman won round 2 pretty clearly tbh, and watching it again he lands like double the punches and they were big shots too that had estrada looking uncomfortable and got the crowd cheering, 2 of the judges scoring that for estrada is pretty bad tbh, i dont see any way that he won that round and consider it one of the bigger rounds of the fight for someone

but i agree , lots of close rounds, roman though did enough for me and literally havent seen 1 forum card for estrada!

i just dont see it, it was a clear and fairly big roman round imo, no way did estrada land the better punches, he was just doing those slappy flurries while roman was landing meaty power shots that had him looking stressed. roman defo landed more too

Which other ones did you have as swing rounds? I wasn’t scoring but it felt like a fight with 2 or 3.

WBA have temporarily suspended judge Sucre, who turned in the 117-111 scorecard.
