Less than 2 weeks until this PPV show. Only 2 fights scheduled so far. The Povetkin fight and the Cheeseman fight.

Simply not good enough if you want fans coughing up once again for what is a world title semi eliminator and a british title fight.

I have seen better championship bouts at the York hall and not that long ago either.

With rising bills etc its not worth having a tv license these days and you can easily find other means to watch the same program and save 50-100 a month.

Whether we like it or not Whyte is a PPV fighter in the U.K.

300k+ buys in the first fight against Povetkin. Same amount of buys in the US for the first Wilder/Fury. I know the price points are higher over there but their populations are 5 times the size and they’re regularly getting PPV shows doing 200k buys.

The fights on the undercard are good, it just feels like we’re missing a solid co-main.

It’s lumped together in their official accounts but Eddie often talks about buys and Adam Smith does occasionally too. Eddie will likely be on the high side with what he says but it’s unlikely he’d be claiming the shows did double what they actually did do as the fighters would be asking questions.

Boxing isn’t even a top 10 sport in the US.

It’s more popular in the UK, and as being a smaller country, it’s easier to get behind.

Feels like the First PPV card in a while where there’s been no women’s fight.

Will be a fairly fun fight but I don’t particularly rate either.

Be interesting to see Pfeifer. Decent amateur maybe chinny. Probably weighing him up as a possible future opponent for one of their heavies. He’s not a matchroom guy is he?

Also I think Campbell Hatton is on the bill

Pfeifer’s been sparring Whyte and will probably see it as a chance to get a fairly big fight if he wins.

I’m pretty sure AJ stopped him in the world championships which isn’t a good sign but let’s see.
