Mir's best boxing displays were in breaking down and stopping Nogueira, in destroying Silva and Duffee.

Personally, I think the Noqueira fight stands out as his great striking performance and although his stand up looked much more composed in his fights against Bigfoot and Dufee, their chins were non-existant at this point and the KO was almost inevitable.

Either way, it's still not good enough to beat Tarver with his skills, it may just be who's body has the most left which is a sad way to judge a fight.

Noqueira boxed in the 2007 Pan American games in Rio. He was decent. I ref'd one of his fights in the quarter finals. He won but lost to the Cuban in the semi's. He also fought big Bob Sapp who was like 375 lbs. in a Pride fight. He got hammered early on but eventually got Sapp on the ground and tapping out to an arm bar. These guys are all wacked fighting at their age.
