Why bother turning pro so soon.. most guys turn over early because they are broke and need money.. presumably not the case with Hatton.
This should have been on the free YouTube broadcast . Not on primetime ... it’s similar to what Frank did to Tommy Fury vs Mr 0-9... it’s poor quality
Now he’s getting well paid but the pressure’s on.
Matchroom are promoters - they’re not going to give away a fight like this for free. They promoted him heavily for his debut and there will be people who bought tonight’s PPV, rightly or wrongly, partially because they wanted to watch Campbell.

The commentary is laughable at times, the way they try to spin it lol

Campbell didn't really look better, his opponent tonight was much worse than his debut opponent. Just to nip that one in the bud.
Re: Round-by-Round: Joseph Parker vs. Derek Chisora - 1 May 2021
Fair point. Unless you were at elite international level, amateur boxing has essentially been on hold for over a yearmaverick23 wrote: ↑01 May 2021, 16:46

I guess Eddie made him an offer he couldn’t refuse.
Sky will be thrilled if Dazn get the long term returns on their early product development costs :)
Re: Round-by-Round: Joseph Parker vs. Derek Chisora - 1 May 2021
For all that we slagged Campbell off for being so high up the bill you have to give it to him and Levi Dunn: that was a better fight than the two that preceded it. I couldn't take my eyes off it. I'm warming to Campbell Hatton. Yes he's got loads to learn but he's willing and good to watch and if he carries on improving at the rate that he has from the debut...yeh, warming to Ricky's son, definitely.

Interesting thought. Campbell Hatton is off to Dazn in a few weeks time.
What does that do for his profile?
Eubank Jnr was built via CH5 very strongly. Connor Benn via Sky of course and some well viewed event.
Hatton wont be in a decent fight for a while, he is a total novice, his ring entrance will be fun for those at the live events, but it is difficult to see how DAZN build him...

Wonder how much better Eubank Jr would be if he used a more conventional style instead of that fancy dan posturing pish, you need to be a freak like Roy Jones Jr to get away with that at a decent level, Eubank's got a lot of natural talent, quick, sharp, strong, fit, punches reasonably hard, good engine and has his dads beard, if it wasn't for his showy persona he'd make a good stand up boxer i reckon, if he fought like Arguello or Trinidad his career would be a lot more interesting, he's no jab or even ring IQ, just gets by on his self belief, name and poor matchmaking mainly

Is there any update what time Chisora v Parker starts ?

I was quite tempted to do a COVID breach report on those 3 (utterly dysfunctional) households meeting up indoors.jameswilson wrote: ↑01 May 2021, 16:53The kid on the left looked like he was posting on here about how sh1t Adam Smiths growling commentary is.
