If we are judging him at world level then yes AJ, Parker, Arreola in that order. Two of them dropped him. Yes they did but one of them is arguably the best puncher in the world (probably doesn't hit as hard as Wilder but the missiles thrown by Joshua have a more sophisticated guidance and delivery system) and he hit Andy with his best and Andy got dropped but got up.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑03 May 2021, 12:24 would we say aj, parker, and arreola were his best opponents, the only ones worth a damn?
2 of them dropped him
granted, i still think his chin is okay enough, and he recovered reasonably fast, but he's no ironman
Chris Arreola carries respectable power but he isn't known as a dangerous puncher. He also dropped Andy but Andy got up.
There are a few possible explanations:
Arreola and Joshua are similar in terms of punching power. I think we can rule that one out.
Ruiz is easy enough to knock down but very difficult to keep down. That sounds rather like T. Fury, I guess that's a plausible explanation.
Alternatively Ruiz getting dropped by Arreola was an aberration and he was uncharacteristically susceptible maybe as a result of weight-loss, maybe some other reason, maybe Arreola hit him at exactly the right time in exactly the right place.
I guess we have insufficient data to reach any conclusion at this time as to the quality of Andy's chin. It has certainly put a doubt in my mind that didn't exist before.
