I guess CEJ feels he mighta stopped BJS in his "first real fight" if he'd had more experience. And that was @ MW.

But then again, the only people to really bother Canelo have been boxer/mover types...

Why? He was a raw novice with very little amateur background, first started boxing a couple of years before (Saunders had 20y exp) and gave away the first six just standing there. It was one-way traffic from there. First six were close and cagey, next six were dominating CEJr rounds.

He’s very powerful but doesn’t place the punches to the right spots (point of chin or temple) or throw as a counter or off a feint IE opponent not seeing shot coming unable to brace

The time he got in and threw with an opponent he took them out clean (Yildrim) instead of jumping in swinging or teeing off on a braced opponent

For me Saunders sneaked by Eubank. I had him by one round. He was terrible in the second half of the fight and against a self trained novice.

And he still boxes like a raw novice

That's why he jacked it from GGG,Eubank Jnr is as full as s**t as anyone, talking himself up then underwhelming all the time, posting stupid videos of him beating on sparring partners like a Gym fighter,

Easy to say this an that and what you would and wouldn't do when talking about professional boxing from ya home but Jnr ain't going nowhere fast and is just too showy for me

Only success he had was when Billyjoe starting fighting with him instead of boxing with him

So it is fine when people on forums shit on Saunders from their sofa but an actual boxer does it and the same people are crying about it? Hilarious

Not really more fool anybody :maybe:

Maybe that's how you see it,I just see it for what it is,both couldn't stick each other and emotions got the better of Billyjoe for a time

Yeah Bill was tiring and Jnr still couldn't do much with him

Apart from win the last 6 rounds and win on one scorecard ? you have to think when they met Jnr was a raw novice,Saunders ex olympian and multiple champion and it was a split decision

Yeah claimed the 6rnds and the SD but in terms of getting Bill out of there he wasn't much cop at all, yeah he was a raw novice, still nothing humble about him and rematch wouldn't even be close

Why would Jnr failing to stop Saunders be looked upon as a failure on Eubanks part, nobody has ever come remotely close to doing that

Wasn't a failure was it,just a loss in a boxing match,a loss that I reckon gets to him everything billyjoe is brought up

Really good turnaround for Canelo’s career. like he only fought Smith a few months ago. We talking 5 months ago, and he fought once since then too.

Well BJS SHOULD have done more in camps - because he's been very lucky not to have 2 losses on his record to guys w/o a fraction of his class.
