it's the definition of a farce.

still this shitshow runs under 'world heavyweight championship'.

so did any fighter ever got a bigger step up opportunity than loverboy?

his record is... nothing, zipp, a blown up joke!

should he really accidentally catch charr by surprise on the sweet spot before he will be retiring huffing & puffing out of exhaustion on his stool after the third...

Lovejoy on the andy ruiz training program
He got shot too, remember.

there's also zero footage of that guy. nobody ever saw that guy fight. he's completely out of shape.

he hasn't been in a single competitive fight in his streak of tijuana beatdowns on nobodies professional push overs paid 50 bucks to slump over and pad records!

that guy's fuckin record is too much🤣

eo, please! break it down in one of your meticulously detailed analysis!

for real, how in hell did he get that shot?

however one rates that 'belt' or actually doesn't, it's got some exposure.

there are literally hundreds heavys ranked in front of fuckkin' loverboy with an objectively better record.

he's not with king anymore now, who before paid for his wba ranking, is he?

again, how did this nonsensical shit fest came about then?

it's beyond retarded! that 'fight' stinks!

how??? :brick:

Even with 4 years off, Charr is light years ahead of his opponent, who has despatched 19 car park attendants, bin men or warehouse staff in a row. Some of these palookas have records like 6-50-2, 0-1-0 or worse. Some are debut fighters. Charr has been in with many rated fighters we've heard of, from Klitschko, Povetkin or Breidis to hardy veteran Kevin Johnson. The man can fight. My bet is Charr despatches 305lb Lovejoy as soon as his heart rate escalates. That could be inside a round. Perhaps Charr, or the other 'WBA champion' Trevor Bryan can fight for unification of this belt for rarely active combatants. Bryan at 21-0 did beat Stiverne in January however, lacing up gloves for the first time in two and a half years. It would be ridiculous to think a guy with 19 KOs of blokes at bus stops could be a WBA champion, but hey....

Didn't Lovejoy announce his retirement like 2 weeks ago? I had to Google it as I was starting to think I was having dreams about Lovejoy :yay:

Was that some tactic to get out of his Don King contract?

It's a mystery.

I can only summize that the boxrec love-in over the last few years for all things Lovejoy, combined with an appreciation of antiques, has triggered something deep and hidden to my conscious self.

I am hyped for this clash :box:

Was he bitten by a spider, no that's the other guy, Joseph err I mean Peter Parker. I think it was a non lethal dose of gamma radiation but not enough to turn him green.

You can call for the men in white coats if you like, but i'm interested to see how Lovejoy does against someone with a pulse. I expect he'll get destroyed but the fact that he hasn't been beaten (small wonder considering the opposition admittedly) provides a small element of doubt.

I for one am more interested in this, than any of these exhibitions between geriatric former boxers, or boxer v martial artist under queensbury rules, shite. Maybe that's just me. Is that a siren I can hear in the distance?

I wonder if the winner will be offered a fight against the Lewis V Tyson 2 exhibition winner, or maybe Larry Holmes?

I think it's supposed to be on BildPlus in Germany so hopefully there will be a stream out there. Doubt it will be covered by many international channels though.

It’s funny, in the past 12 months, any news related to Lovejoy, they’ve always had some articles up.

Why not just pick the damn thing up?
