Whilts better than the Khan Olympics and the headguard removal is great, the problem with international amateur boxing is that due to enforced boring red and blue strips the boxers have to wear, its lost a lot of character. Everyone looks the same! I remember the old individual amateur strips like 1984 and 1988 were awesome. I feel like I'm watching the same faceless fighters over and over again. But yes, it a shame I can't be bothered to watch these quality bouts. Also I like to watch people get knocked out which used to happen way more in the old Olympic days..... now its quite rare.
Hungary, Turkey, Spain have some incredible talents, why they never turn over is beyond me. McGrail v The Hungarian was as high quality as you'll see. There have been stoppages. Body work is scored. Its high level 3 round boxing and can only improve as when most of these lads started it was the headguard/fencing style.
The Spanish earn more in the amateurs than pro's.
There is no money in Spanish pro boxing, you fight like 3 times a year either for free or 100euros so the promoter can afford to pay the opponent.

Agreed. Something was definitely up. Big Bogdan has now been drugged in 3 fights he should've won standing on his head. It's almost like there's a conspiracy to keep him out of the WBA title picture. Enquiry needed I suggest.
 long live big bog the uncrowned people’s interim champ
Big Bogdan can come again. But, like Wilder, he needs to keep an eye on his water and food so he's not drugged again. Maybe change his team. Get a couple of wins under his belt, set his sights on Lovejoy, Oquendo and then take out the undisputed number 1 Mahmoud Charr. The sky's the limit for triple B (Big Bad Bogdan.) Joshua will never want a part of him, but I dont think it will affect his legacy, especially to the knowledgeable hardcore fan. :TU:

Anyone else questioning that KO?
Was an accurate shot but footage from ringside shows it wasn’t completely loaded up.
Weird for a 250lb fighter to have his senses scrambled by that, imo.
I know Dubois hits hard but I’m thinking Dinu come for the wedge and didn’t wanna get hurt.
He was 4kg ish heavier than his last fight.

Well, for me it looked liked a heavy shot. Dinu was iced pretty well. Probably he could show more guts in getting up, that's questionable, but in any case he looked hurt badly, as he was dropped hard.
