The Herol Graham myth is slightly nauseating. Oh he never got the chances he deserved! Er 3 world title shots, Euro and British titles. Oh he was untouchable! Yeah except getting laid out 3 times and clearly outpointed twice by Kalambay and also Mccallum. Meanwhile Wayne Alexander only got one shot at the world title at 24 hours notice!
I mean what were his best wins? Mainly British level fighters - Kaylor, Douglas. Did he beat a SINGLE world class fighter? I'd argue no. His best wins were Lindell Holmes and Chris Johnson and ex lightweight Vinny Paz. FFS..... For anyone to suggest he was better than Hamed is either deluded or a Hamed hater.
Also doesn't he have 9 different children by different women? I can't have respect for someone like that.
Not liking a boxer because he has several children by different women, come on man, what's the problem as long as he supports them
I dont agree. Character and personality are important in who you like. Also its impossible to correctly look after 9 children with different mothers, under different roofs... none of which are your own.
I find it disturbing people that don't mold their lives around their own children and are absentee fathers. I don't t think its a bad thing to respect a good parent.

Boxers with good character and personality ? ,won't leave you with a great choice then will it ?

Naz was no Herol Graham.
No. He was better.
Defensively?
For me naz was better in every way. Some people on here saying naz fought cans?!?! He fought ex world champions and alike, he wasn’t beating on 2-100 journeyman or 1-6 novice bums. His best performance I thought was augie Sanchez who beat floyd in the amateurs, he completely poleaxed him, and beating a Kevin Kelly who was coming off of a career best win wasn’t too bad either! Benn has the more impressive win, but absolutely no way he should be held in higher regard than naz IMO

I was comparing Naz to Graham defensively.
No I know Tommy, hence why I said I thought he was better everywhere, but that’s just my opinion, it was more the earlier comments in the thread, even questioning his class I found strange, not by u, just other posters

Naz was very talented. Graham was just a master (the master) at what he did.
Hamed was at least a couple of levels above Graham, Naz was one of the best ever produced from these shores.
Right. Graham has 3 title world shots. Got kod twice. Got kod by Frank Grant and easily outpointed by Kalambay.
Naz was WBC WBO and IBF plus linear champion. One loss. Never stopped be reasonable. There’s too much sentimentality about Graham.
Was well past his best against Grant and Brewer.....pretty much trained himself for Grant fight and was dead at the weight.... very close in the first Kalambay fight and was robbed blind in the 2nd
Julian Jackson was just as dangerous at middleweight as he was light middleweight. He could turn out almost anyone's lights. I'd rate Jackson higher than Hagler in terms of one punch KO power.
The Brewer fight was Graham's last stand after a long, long career and he didn't do bad actually.
