For me naz was better in every way. Some people on here saying naz fought cans?!?! He fought ex world champions and alike, he wasn’t beating on 2-100 journeyman or 1-6 novice bums. His best performance I thought was augie Sanchez who beat floyd in the amateurs, he completely poleaxed him, and beating a Kevin Kelly who was coming off of a career best win wasn’t too bad either! Benn has the more impressive win, but absolutely no way he should be held in higher regard than naz IMO

He looked better than Calzaghe did against Brewer.THEBUTCH wrote: ↑12 Jun 2021, 19:31 Julian Jackson was just as dangerous at middleweight as he was light middleweight. He could turn out almost anyone's lights. I'd rate Jackson higher than Hagler in terms of one punch KO power.
The Brewer fight was Graham's last stand after a long, long career and he didn't do bad actually.
Chris Johnson was supposed to be the next big thing.

As for Kalule he probably hadn’t heard of Graham and expected a simple win. When he was dominated he assumed he had grown old overnight!
Look what Kalule’s rival Kalambay went on to do.

I don’t mean to be unpleasant but I think you’re deluded. Graham was exceptional. At his level. But he failed at world title level. This is typical of Ingle fighters. Look incredible at a certain level but in the world space get showed up. Frank Grant is a tough man but hardly Sugar Ray Leonard.coghaugen11 wrote: ↑14 Jun 2021, 14:35Yeah 20 years past his best post a long retirement.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑14 Jun 2021, 14:11Yeah except Graham got knocked out and Calzaghe won clearly.coghaugen11 wrote: ↑14 Jun 2021, 12:49

Frank Grant wouldn’t of laid a glove on the Graham of 1984. That wasn’t Bomber in there that night, and it was still arguably the biggest upset of the 90s.

I didn’t know anyone who picked Grant. Though to be fair nobody seemed to know who he was.
All the boxing fans I spoke to wanted Graham in with Eubank at that time feeling Bomber would clown him and box his ears off.

As Buncey would say "let's get it right"....Grant beating Graham from the British title was a big shock !
I wasn't at the fight, but that result stunned the British boxing scene
I've my own thoughts on Herol's performance that night, but Frank thoroughly deserved his victory and title win. 'The Terminator' was also a hard puncher at British level.

I suppose so, but the way the fight went, plus the crowd being very much behind Grant, he had a stand to himself, segregated if you like, that it didn't seem to shocking how the fight unfolded.THEBUTCH wrote: ↑14 Jun 2021, 19:09 As Buncey would say "let's get it right"....Grant beating Graham from the British title was a big shock !

"get showed up"?
Johnny Nelson retired as the longest reigning world cruiserweight champion of all time with a record 14 defences.
Naseem Hamed won every fight as an Ingle fighter including 12 world title fights.

Perhaps you’re thinking of the fight with Jeff ‘Left Hook’ Lacy??
