He had/is having a management dispute with Dillian. Still surprised it’s caused him to be out of the ring so much.

Why be managed by another active boxer.

exposure. You have someone people respect to talk you up, it puts you in with there promotional unit, basicaly garrentees you being on 2 big cards a year (you need to make sure they can find you inbetween cards though). If your the same weight or simular you can pick up some of there sparring dregs ect.

I think its gone great for babic and wardly so far. Okoli was/is managed by AJ wasnt he? no doubt the fighters are mainly a figure head for a % but it can be effective.

Yeh, but Whyte? He may manage his own career well, but doesn't mean he has others best interest.

Even Bellew manages boxers, but h's a retired boxer, he can focus on them.

Why not approach 258 instead..

Whyte hasn’t done a bad job, that I know of, with any of the fighters he’s involved with as he’s delivered them chances. Wardley’s been fighting regular, Babic would likely be unknown if it wasn’t for Whyte, and it really helped Riakporhe until things seemingly soured.

What's the beef then? percentage?

How many of Whyte's undercards has Riakhporhe fought on really?

No idea. Probably money in these kind of things.

He’s been out for 18 months. Last beat Massey in December 19 so he needs to find a way back as he’s already lost loads of momentum. He stopped McCarthy and beat CBS and now nothing whilst they’re having a fairly big fight.

A poor show from Whyte when he's holding a young mans career back.

Especially when he's been so vocal about how much of a cut throat sport boxing is and played the victim role with his mandatory position.

What’s the point. He’s already splattered the pit of them. He should be pushing on now.

I think I read somewhere that Whyte managed to cut a deal with Eddie for Raiakpore to fight Okolie, and he was pissed when Richard turned it down. Since then it’s all gone quiet for him.

It’s ridiculous if he’s fallen out with him over refusing to fight Okolie. Dillian himself has turned down Pulev, Ortiz & a Joshua rematch to plot a ‘better’ route for himself.

I imagine it’s over money. He’ll have wanted his cut from the Okolie fight but he didn’t take it.

Fair play to him for standing his ground if so.
