So Russell, Teo, Haney, Garcia, and Prograis calling Tank out is b.s. somehow? Because he hasn't fought one of them. Not even Loma.JMac wrote: ↑27 Jun 2021, 20:42Maybe Tanks people know the calling out is bs talk.IKSRTFO wrote: ↑27 Jun 2021, 20:21How if they're calling him out and he's ignoring them?JMac wrote: ↑27 Jun 2021, 19:35 Gary Russell is too light to fight Tank now though it would have been a great fight for the DMV. His brother Antuann who is 140 was also an Olympian and looked great in his last fight but he’s not quite ready and the Russell’s would avoid it like they did with Gary. Shame.
who does tank fight next?

I was talking about Russell, not the other guys. I’m friends with Tanks trainer Calvin Ford. I used to take my amateur boxers to his gym for sparring including Tank when he was real young. I won’t put my guys in with him now but anyway Calvin told me they wanted to fight Russell but couldn’t get the fight.

You are talking 4 pounds difference from the weight Tank fought at last, world ranked wrote: ↑27 Jun 2021, 20:31So you think Tank's team want him to be tight at 130 just to fight someone who he's the A-side to?Bandog wrote: ↑27 Jun 2021, 20:20Tank last fought at 130, so him fighting Russell isn't a stretch weight wise.world ranked wrote: ↑27 Jun 2021, 19:44 Is he really going to fight under 140. I say no. How can it be Gary Russell?

Whole lot of time from Santa Cruz fight to his next fight. I gotta to think he will never fight below 135 again.Bandog wrote: ↑27 Jun 2021, 21:28You are talking 4 pounds difference from the weight Tank fought at last, world ranked wrote: ↑27 Jun 2021, 20:31So you think Tank's team want him to be tight at 130 just to fight someone who he's the A-side to?

Nice summationBandog wrote: ↑27 Jun 2021, 18:53 I picked Loma. I really doubt if he could KO Loma, but could knock him down. Loma is so good with his footwork and positioning when he punches, I see Loma decisioning Tank. Not sure if Tank has been in deep waters either, so the jury is out whether he would quit or not. Great fight though, I'd pay to see it. I see a 116-112 type of decision in favor of Loma.
It would be the only one I would pay to see.

Re: who does tank fight next?
ideally?
lopez right away.
or even one of the first seven fighters mentioned would be okay fights.
all these guys should fight each other.
will even one of those fights happen next year?
which ones will happen in the foreseeable future?
realistically?

Re: who does tank fight next?
Rolando Romero is fighting for the interim WBA (reg) lightweight belt... Tank owns that belt. Both are Floyd guys i think. Could see this "unification" being made end of the year...
Re: who does tank fight next?
Loma beats Tank relatively easily which is why we'll never get THAT fight...
