It must feel very good for Golovking that now he is on top and almost every mw wants a piece of him!

I remember running into a Kazak researcher nearly 10 years ago.
Me: Oh wow, you're from Kazakhstan?
Him: Yes, how do you know it?! (Excited)
Me: ... Um, I think I saw a documentary about your country ...

Agreed.
apollo creed wrote: 16 Jul 2021, 06:52Even the version of Lemieux that G fought would've gave hard fights to Charlo and Andrade.
Strongly disagree.

Agree about Steve Rolls.

Strongly disagree about Vanes Martirosyan and Kamil Szeremeta.
apollo creed wrote: 16 Jul 2021, 06:52Murata in Japan and Munguia(assuming he'd get a belt) would be more lucrative and winnable fights for a 40 y/o G than Charlo and Andrade.
Agreed to a certain extent, but whilst Murata and Munguia would indeed be lucrative bouts, GGG would probably earn slightly more facing Charlo and Andrade.
apollo creed wrote: 16 Jul 2021, 06:52Yeah Charlo and Andrade may be better fighters than Murata and Munguia but they also don't want to risk too much by fighting each other.
Strongly agreed.

I'll even go one further by passionately arguing that none of the top-tier world-rated middleweights are willing to face each other, because they don't want to risk losing their opportunities to receive a mega Canelo lottery-winning sized payday.

The middleweight division is in a terrible state right now because of it.

And whilst I agree with most of your opinions, it doesn't detract from the fact that GGG's conduct definitely contradicts the claims he made during his DAZN introduction press-conference.

When G fought Vanes, it was after the first Canelo fight - more as a stay busy fight b/c Canelo tested positive for clenbuterol, then G rematched Canelo. I mean c'mon man!

And yes all these top MW's like Charlo, Andrade, Eubank Jr and even Munguia may not fight each other too soon b/c they are staying ready for Canelo.

There were other fighters offering their services to fight GGG, but K2 picked the weakest option in Vanes.

what exactly is this crop of middleweight top dogs waiting for?

did i miss something? didn't canelo make it clear by no means will he go back to middle?

why would he? he's comfortable at super middle & light heavy.

the drain steppin down wouldn't do him any good, he knows his body. we know from history that draining back down was rarely ever a good idea.

maybe after beterbiev knocks his block off, he might change his mind, still i doubt he'll ever fight again at 160.

Maybe staying safe then move up at 168 when Canelo is running out of opponents at 168-175? All these guys like Andrade, Charlo Eubank Jr and Munguia are big guys and of course that they should fight each other.

yeah, got you. but for that they have to fornicating step up to 68 first themselves. and fight somebody challenging a class up. they ar not doing shit in their own division except always picking the easiest fight to keep that fuckung 0.

what are these mw fighters or their respective idiots of managers thinking?

stay safe at 60, avoid each other, announce the move up and expecting boxing god canelo to suddenly pick & pay them?

frikking start fighting each other!

Well, its sad but true. Actually Andrade was so close to fight BJS but Billy had messed up that. Saunders was pretty lucky with that easy belt at 168 b/c Canelo want it.

Since Andrade is so avoided, he should move up at 168 and fight Benavidez. I think Benavidez would gladly accept it. :box:

apollo creed wrote: 15 Jul 2021, 10:31 Guys like Charlo, Andrade and Eubank Jr want the scalp of a 40 y/o GGG but let's not forget that when GGG was younger and still a champ, he was avoided like the plague. The only decent MW's that had balls to fight a young G were Murray and Lemieux-IBF mw champion. The rest of them were 'hiding and acting like who is G'? lol

Now G is in a good position to make smart decisions for him, meanwhile these young-ish MW's are all talk and less willing to take some risks!

Gennadiy Golovkin vs Ryota Murata, Dec. 28 in Tokyo would be a big boxing-event! :OhYes: :box:
and mat macklin , but any way that is boxing advoid fighters make your money nothing new, i think charlo could beat him the rest no but all depens if charlo can take a big shot which we still dont know

If thats true then fine 'bruh' but its just a bit ironic that you made a suggestion about multiple user names and suddenly my mate gets 86'd from the board. I mean it was simultaneous with your remark mate so it is what it is.

have no idea what happened with that mate, was all a bit of a laugh and not something i took seriously, have never contacted any admit to get anyone banned. you should message John about the situation and see if he can unban or allow for another account
