usyk wins this. joshua cant fight 12 rounds at a pace . when he exerts himself he needs practically two rounds off to recover. that is when he will be like a sitting duck for usyk to exploit. joshua has a slim chance of landing his big punches cleanly, and even if he does....i cant think of any time in the past where usyk looked vulnerable....joshua , on the other hand, has been down plenty of times

I agree AJ has stamina issues but he recovers pretty well. He's been dropped a few times but always gets back on his feet and Usyk doesn't hit as hard as any of the boxers who hurt Joshua. Usyk doesn't hit hard enough to stop heavyweights walking him down, Chisora was tired in the last couple of rounds but Usyk couldn't put a dent in him. When Joshua is taking a couple of rounds off what do you think Usyk is going to do?

Also, Usyk has been hurt before and by someone who doesn't hit nearly as hard as AJ.

he doesnt look very hurt to me there tbh, the legs dont dip or go there, it is just him slightly stepping back. id say it he took it well actually

he was hurt in the 12th vs briedis though, much more clearly than in that gif

He went out on top, even though it is a loss on his record. Got out before the sport became more corrupt. Then Leonard offered him a rematch years later didn’t he?

Usyk's chin is very good. Taking Gassiev's and Briedis' punches well means being ready for the HW power, as all of them three were drained HWs at the CW. Of course, it's impossible to predict, if Usyk takes a clean best shot of Joshua, but will Joshua be able to deliver such frequently?

I think Joshua wins via stoppage somewhere between rounds 8 and 10, plus or minus a round. I am not at all impressed with the Ukrainian as a heavyweight, and since it appears he has let the criticism of him having no punching power get the better of him putting on excess bulk it shows me he's already mentally lost the match.

Bellew Confident Usyk Has Enough Power To Hurt Joshua

Former cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew certainly believes that Oleksandr Usyk is a big enough puncher to score a stoppage win over Anthony Joshua.

Usyk, a former undisputed cruiserweight world champion, will challenge Joshua for the IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight titles at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on September 25.

This contest will mark the third heavyweight outing for Usyk.

In his two heavyweight appearances, Usyk did not look as spectacular as he did when he competed at cruiserweight.

Bellew was knocked out by Usyk in November of 2018. It was the final cruiserweight appearance for Usyk and the final bout of Bellew's career.

While some have questioned Usyk's power at heavyweight, Bellew is not one of those critics.

"Believe you me mate, he hits hard enough to send me down. He's exceptional. He's the best I ever faced. He is so technically perfect. His footwork is on another level," Bellew told the DAZN Boxing Show.

For the upcoming bout, Usyk will be trained by Anatoly Lomachenko, who is the father and trainer of three division champion Vasiliy Lomachenko.

In the opinion of Bellew, that scenario makes the upcoming bout that much harder.

"It’s a hard fight, I’m not gonna lie. It’s a very, very hard fight. If anything, it’s just got even harder because Usyk has now gone back with Lomachenko’s father. That makes it even harder because they will create a game plan that is gonna try and negate everything good that Anthony Joshua does," Bellew told Talk Sport.

“They’re gonna try and take everything away from him. That’s what Usyk does so well. He takes away your strengths before he looks at implementing his own strengths. And by taking away your strengths, you’re lost. The things he does with his feet – he’s exceptional. So I think it’s a really hard fight, I think it’s really dangerous.”
