But Webb took a fair few flush shots and did not throw back. Should have had a count imo
Bennett didn't go down. He fought like a man

U what
Now they've shown the replay you can see the ref had no choice - Webb wasn't defending himself and in danger of being seriously hurt.
1/ ref should’ve give a count
2/ Webb takes a left to gloves/head
3/ Webb hurt but not too badly
4/ Wardley not stopped in that position
5/ imagine every fight stopped at that stage… especially in rd 1
6/ British boxing not helping their fighters prepare for real world boxing at all
Count for the ropes holding him up? He was more leaning on them than falling on them. No standing counts otherwise in pro boxing which makes it awkward. When the ref stopped it, web was getting battered with no end on site (ref didn’t know he was going down, can’t see the future)

Webb wanted no more. It looked a bad knockdown initially - not quite sure why the ref didn’t count but I don’t think it mattered.

The ropes stopped him going down. That’s a KD in pro and Am boxing.

Was weird Webb didn’t complain. He didn’t take too many flush shots. Hopefully he got paid well for this fight as I don’t wanna see him on my tv again.
It’s a big fight… you have to really want it. Webb maybe didn’t.
Still think an inexperienced ref spoiled potentially a decent fight.

Agreed , I think he'd give Babic a fight even at this fledgling stage of his career .
The quality on display has been poor , are other countries taking this card ?

Not really when you decide to lean on them which is what he did. It was a bit of a 50-50 weird one. Was never punched and going down if it weren’t for the ropes, he just weirdly decided to lean into the ropes I thinking about taking a knee mabey.
