But Webb took a fair few flush shots and did not throw back. Should have had a count imo

Count for the ropes holding him up? He was more leaning on them than falling on them. No standing counts otherwise in pro boxing which makes it awkward. When the ref stopped it, web was getting battered with no end on site (ref didn’t know he was going down, can’t see the future)Dioufy wrote: ↑07 Aug 2021, 16:271/ ref should’ve give a count
2/ Webb takes a left to gloves/head
3/ Webb hurt but not too badly
4/ Wardley not stopped in that position
5/ imagine every fight stopped at that stage… especially in rd 1
6/ British boxing not helping their fighters prepare for real world boxing at all

Have you nailed your cousin?
To make things a little easier for you to admit it my nephew was shagging his cousin. The perv

Webb wanted no more. It looked a bad knockdown initially - not quite sure why the ref didn’t count but I don’t think it mattered.Dioufy wrote: ↑07 Aug 2021, 16:271/ ref should’ve give a count

The ropes stopped him going down. That’s a KD in pro and Am boxing.gregregegg wrote: ↑07 Aug 2021, 16:31Count for the ropes holding him up? He was more leaning on them than falling on them. Was weird Webb didn’t complain. He didn’t take too many flush shots. Hopefully he got paid well for this fight as I don’t wanna see him on my tv again.maverick23 wrote: ↑07 Aug 2021, 16:33Webb wanted no more. It’s a big fight… you have to really want it. Webb maybe didn’t.
Still think an inexperienced ref spoiled potentially a decent fight.

Webb is no Bennett.

Agreed , I think he'd give Babic a fight even at this fledgling stage of his career .JamesPhilips wrote: ↑07 Aug 2021, 16:26 5 fights so far….. 10 pro fighters…. And the one who showed the best boxing ability was Johnny Fisher LOL
The quality on display has been poor , are other countries taking this card ?
Must be pissing themselves laughing .

Think they're probably enjoying it ?
It's not like these are all British title fights ?

Yeah I get it. I love heavies but we need some quality boxing to remind us we’re not in Hartlepool town square at 4am Lolrd350lc wrote: ↑07 Aug 2021, 16:40Agreed , I think he'd give Babic a fight even at this fledgling stage of his career .JamesPhilips wrote: ↑07 Aug 2021, 16:26 5 fights so far….. 10 pro fighters…. Not really when you decide to lean on them which is what he did. It was a bit of a 50-50 weird one. Was never punched and going down if it weren’t for the ropes, he just weirdly decided to lean into the ropes I thinking about taking a knee mabey.Dioufy wrote: ↑07 Aug 2021, 16:34The ropes stopped him going down.
