The future is streaming. The bad news - its yet more channels to pay for.

The good news - I can pick my channels and get better value for money and see more boxixng. It means I don't have to pay £35 a month, sign up for a minimum of a year plus PPV for any half decent fight, to watch a couple of scrappy British fights a month, listen to an awful biased team made up of Adam Smith, company men, and slightly worn out birds who know nothing about boxing..... oh yes and how could I forget.... I have to install a Jeremy Kyle inspired dish to my property.

DAZN doing a decent job, and at a low price (for now) plus I've checked out Fite TV which looks promising. To the darts and netball Smith, boxing fans will soon be throwing a party in your (dis)honour LOL.

The thought of Sky Sports Boxing crashing and disappearing makes my willy tingle..... :OhYes:

Disagree pal. The more channels that support and show boxing the better and ultimately Sky are the only broadcaster that have consistently shown boxing.

We may not like the PPVs and some of the personnel but when most channels with a hint of sport have shown boxing they have rarely continued to show it.

The last few golden boy shows have been good and I enjoyed the last Italy show. The Italy/Spain shows have reduced due to Covid but they were fine given the limited talent in those countries.

Matchroom announced the signing of a decent looking Aussie prospect earlier today - no doubt that’s their next target.

LMAO So now he's commentating on 3 sports that he knows nothing about.... on top of boxing which he knows fook all :D

His redundancy payment must be potentially too huge for Sky to want to pay out so they're just sticking him on any sh1te hoping he leaves of his own accord...he won't of course as no other boxing show would touch him with a shitty stick

I understand that, although the past is not important now it's the present and future. Sky seem to be getting out of boxing, and I just think we will have more boxing than ever with streaming, new channels, Youtube shows etc.
Sky Boxing dying is not gonna make any difference to the boxing available to the fan. But yeah in the past despite the awfulness of Sky, they did consistently show boxing..... although you remember they went through a time, including Ringside, when they REFUSED to acknowledge any fights / fighters not shown on Sky.....and all they talked about were their sh1te leisure shows.... so I'm not exactly nostalgic about them LOL :TU:
