fighters who burnt out young
i was thinking of hughie fury, and how at 27 next month it still often gets mentioned that 'he's still just a babeh', but seemingly has shown little sign of improving with age
made me wonder about a related issue.....who are some fighters who burnt out at a younger age than normal and didnt have the normal peak years?

'Boom Boom' Mancini.
Champ at 21'ish, finished a few years later. To be fair he fought for another title in a comeback
in his late 20's. Cracking short career.

Lewis Ritson.
Re: fighters who burnt out young
Considering he was oldest heavyweight champion - it might seem daft - but I will say Foreman. Even when he returned he was super slow considering he was 38 - which isn't exactly overly old for a heavyweight these days.

And he didn’t throw a punch for 10 years.

Fernando Vargas, David Reid. And possibly Josh Kelly, but that may be more that he just isn't very good.
Re: fighters who burnt out young
Spencer Oliver - although wish the circumstances could have been better for him
Re: fighters who burnt out young
Francisco Bojado had a lot of hype. I’m faritly certain he was in one of the fight night games too.
