Never like him as a fighter and seemed mean and bitter. But love him as a commentator (no homo) he just can’t help himself…. Maybes he’s been on the white truth drug???KiwiRider wrote: ↑28 Aug 2021, 16:44JamesPhilips wrote: ↑28 Aug 2021, 16:40Well call me mystic Meg (APART from “no way!” Real talk Carl Frampton….)JamesPhilips wrote: ↑28 Aug 2021, 15:40 @kiwirider it will be a dull close decision where the commentator says “ well it depends what you like” sort of fights
I actually like Carl as a commentator, I do find him a little hard to understand because I'm foreign. I wonder if they pay them by the kilo?
That would make Carl excellent value compared to say, Bellew![]()

There was a super fly British title fight that hasn't been broadcast but we've multiple non competitive fights with journeymen broadcast along with a stinker+robbery.
Up next it's another knockover job again. Am I being negative or has this been underwhelming for a good card on paper. Running order hasn't helped.

What’s the Nathan Heaney thing? Is it just a large vocal following?

Who’s promoting this show? FW?
Re: Round-by-Round: Anthony Cacace vs. Leon Woodstock - 28 August 2021
Yes, that was listed first in Ruthie's lre fight line up post. I even got up a bit early* to check on the RBR for that one.peter barlow wrote: ↑28 Aug 2021, 16:46 There was a super fly British title fight that hasn't been broadcast but we've multiple non competitive fights with journeymen broadcast along with a stinker+robbery.

Not sure why but it's all Stoke football fans supporting him.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑28 Aug 2021, 16:48 What’s the Nathan Heaney thing? Is it just a large vocal following?
Tbh I can imagine it's a recipe for crowd trouble/fights if he fights anyone else with a following.

Heard Heaney sold over 100 k worth of tickets tonight , wonder what his purse is for boxing a journeyman, championship money ? Their going to milk his journey for quite a bit longer with them numbers .

Pisses me off when they show Yarde in a fight that should have been sparring in a gym somewhere, and don't show a British friggin' title fight!

They were brutal body shots on a beefed up middleweight with a big flabby belly, there's no chance he was faking.

Thr Bulgarian has boxed his head off this first minute.
Re: Round-by-Round: Anthony Cacace vs. Leon Woodstock - 28 August 2021
If you mean the Bulgarian, it’s ’the Russian!’
Re: Round-by-Round: Anthony Cacace vs. Leon Woodstock - 28 August 2021
Never seen heaney before but his head is upright, a fckin windsock, may as well have 'knock me out' tatooed on his forehead

'It's 30 or 40 miles away but there seem to be a lot of Stoke fans here.'
30 or 40 miles? Hardly challenging the exploits of Chris Ryan is it?

Why is this scheduled for 10?, Alexandrov is a journeyman, 8 rounds max
Re: Round-by-Round: Anthony Cacace vs. Leon Woodstock - 28 August 2021
Killjoy !
I haven't seen (or heard) anything like Heaney's support since Sir Richard.
He's an area level fighter looking at stadium fights.
I want to see Jake Paul vs Heaney at the Bet365 - that would be some event!!
