Compubox makes no sense again.
And again, in favour of Joshua.
According to compubox, Joshua threw +100 punches more, outlanded Usyk in 5 rounds, and landed only 25 punches less.
In Povetkin fight, compubox tell us that Joshua landed more than Povetkin in EVERY round and landed almost 2x more!
Compubox stats in Fury vs Wilder 1 make no sense as well.
There are other examples too, of course, but all of them in favour of the A side, compubox makes no sense and often it's as crooked as Howard Foster's (or even Adelaide Byrd's) scorecards!

That's impossible, simple as that.

Those seem accurate. Usyk won the first 4, dominated the last 2 and round 7
Thats the fight I saw

josh won 5,6,8
usyk all others clear for me. judges actually had it even after 8 though, but then all 3 gave usyk the last 4
howard foster had josh ahead going into the 10th
defo thought those numbers were a bit generous to joshua. for example didnt think he outlanded usyk in round 10 at all, let alone by 5. i thought usyk outlanded josh in 9 rounds.

"Landing more" when you are throwing soft range jabs that may land makes sense though he threw a bunch of them

Usyk kept AJ below 20% land on compubox. thats impressive considering he is normaly in the 30s% area.

accounting for all punches that landed, even if soft flicky range finders, i just dont see aj having landed more in the fight going into the 11thJeff_lacy_ko wrote: ↑26 Sep 2021, 09:55 "Landing more" when you are throwing soft range jabs that may land makes sense though he threw a bunch of them

Re: Compubox makes no sense again.
u can't cause he simply didn't.
roboticly sticking out left and right hands without any commitment, plain missing or glancing a glove ISN'T landing punches.
but that's what they count, trying to be subtle but failing. always favouring the a side.
and not by mistake.
compubox is crooked to the core. paid off to underline the (this time) failed set up.
trying to legitimize robberies with the 'official numbers' & 'numbers don't lie' shtick.
well, they do.
instrument of corruption. simple as that.

Also guys, just cuts yu land more doesn’t mean you with the round. Usyk’s punches seemed to do more damage than AJ’s.
AJ might have landed 3 jabs to the body, and then Usyk lands a left hook and nearly has AJ on the ground.
We’re giving that to Usyk aren’t we?

Looks about right to me - Joshua threw a lot of pawing jabs that don't win rounds but are counted by Compubox. TBH the only round I've seen where Compubox didn't seem to match the action was the 3rd round of Mayweather vs Pacquiao which I see as competitive but a clear Manny round, though Compubox had Mayweather outlanding him 3:1 in that round, which frankly had/has me scratching my head.

Re: Compubox makes no sense again.
In meaningful punches, certainly not. In the number of times, the glove made contact a-la amateur scoring - perhaps, though still probably not. Compubox definitely isn't 100% accurate, but I think it's usually pretty close. I had Usyk winning 116-112 for the record, but could see 115-113 or 117-111 as viable scorecards too.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑27 Sep 2021, 22:47you think josh was outlanding usyk to start the 11th?jezzamundo wrote: ↑27 Sep 2021, 22:45 Looks about right to me - Joshua threw a lot of pawing jabs that don't win rounds but are counted by Compubox.
