It's the first time I'm reluctant to share any opinions, so I found the same vote and " " itmargaret thatcher wrote: ↑11 Oct 2021, 15:16 probably the most butthurt ive seen anyone get in one of our ranking threads tbh

Here heremargaret thatcher wrote: ↑10 Oct 2021, 17:15 btw, i dont really get the problem, if people before thought fury should be 2, and they still think he should be 2, then hell they should vote him to 2
there is no rule stating that this is forbidden or anything , its simply people voting where they think a guy should be rated
just because other ppl thought a fighter should be ranked differently, shouldnt force ppl to cave into the majority
But to be fair, there are arguments everytime.

Oh. Maybe tomorrow. Not into back and forth arguments on opinions in a "fun" forum.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑11 Oct 2021, 21:32see ewey vs ironbeardoogiebe wrote: ↑11 Oct 2021, 21:30What did I miss?margaret thatcher wrote: ↑11 Oct 2021, 21:19 true true, but usually not quite so butthurt as this time![]()

What a pair of drama queens.
Making a big fuss about a minor disagreement.

Not suggesting a seperate vote for these 2 minor happenings, but.
But hughie beating hammer probably has an argument to be in this top 15
Rivas having not beat a actual heavyweight in nearly 3 years and now compeating outside of the heavyweight division (bridger or catchweight depending on where you stand) surely has to drop him.
Next fight that will effect the rankings is looking like parker vs chisora (although i hope somthing anounced sooner), but when we do the vote for that, we should probably include the 2 above points into factors to effect the vote (if people see it as effecting the top 15).

Re: BoxRec Forum HW Top 15 ranking - Fury vs Wilder
but but but,........rivas won so he cant be demoted!!! at least said the forum on the last vote he was up for.
hammer is an ugly spoiler not coming to win these days, beating him has 0 impact on my ranking of hughie, its simply not a very notable result. though ya id like rivas out and wanted him out last time, though was overruled by the 'he won so you cant demote him' crew. who by extension wont drop him either this time if they hold to that principle
id be more inclined to promote sanchez or helenius or someone like that into the top 15 than hughie

He didn't fight at heavyweight so he can be removed. He should no longer be considered here. I'd vote for Sanchez to enter the rankings.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑22 Oct 2021, 23:38 but but but,........rivas won so he cant be demoted!!! at least said the forum on the last vote he was up for.

Re: BoxRec Forum HW Top 15 ranking - Fury vs Wilder
its weird , because according to pretty much every classification in the world, 222 is heavyweight. but since this was for the wbc title and they have bridgerweight, is it no longer heavyweight, even for our rankings which usually disregard titles?
i think he should've already been out though , rozicki's actually much better than the guy he beat last time and thereafter got voted to remain due to beating . will defo vote him out this time

Re: BoxRec Forum HW Top 15 ranking - Fury vs Wilder
If this were a HW fight, considering how long Rivas was out and the level of his opponent here, I'd probably vote him out. Can't argue a reason to keep him in. Goes against How I'd would normally feel about a fighter being dropped after a win, but after a weak win and inactivity, I would vote him out.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑23 Oct 2021, 03:07 its weird , because according to pretty much every classification in the world, 222 is heavyweight. but since this was for the wbc title and they have bridgerweight, is it no longer heavyweight, even for our rankings which usually disregard titles?

Dosent matter what you weigh it’s what the weight class rules are. If there is a limit it isn’t heavyweight.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑23 Oct 2021, 03:07 its weird , because according to pretty much every classification in the world, 222 is heavyweight. but since this was for the wbc title and they have bridgerweight, is it no longer heavyweight, even for our rankings which usually disregard titles?

When winters fought babic that was a heavyweight fight, dosent matter that he was a cruiser it matters that there was no weight limit.
If this fight was a heavyweight fight Rivas would of come in 240lb and Won by KO.

what if two dudes, in a non wbc fight, agreed on a catchweight of 300, not hw either? ![[icon_e_biggrin.gif] :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)
