Me too,1st one mosley was crisp and sharp,way too quick for de la hoya but 2nd oscar turned it round but the judges where friends with Terry O'Connor

I thought Mosley deserved the rematch personally, but it was definitely WAY more competitive and debatable than the 1st bout.

Ironically the 2nd one was a Unanimous Decision for Mosley while the 1st was a Split.

Sometimes Boxing just don't make no kinda sense. Because even though I thought Mosley won, that was definitely a Split Decision kinda bout if I ever saw one.

Ye it doesnt sometimes,just shows how corrupt the sport is tbh,like teddy atlas says how can the promotor and manager of a show take all the officials out for dinner the night before the fight? I can only remember Scott Dann should have been credited a KD in the first round of their fight (caught Eastman with a southpaw left coming in). Otherwise he was pretty bulletproof.

I think he had 10 losses and was 40 when he fought Blackwell, who in hindsight did well to draw against him. Blackwell was good, I just think Eubank was all wrong for him.

I think though if we are meaning at the time of their retirement then Nelson is a great shout...arguably the number 1 fighter in the division....alot of the fighters being mentioned were greats / all time greats but by the time of their 10th defeat were shot to bits

Yes. I'm sure he was down against Abraham and/or Miranda. I used to have all of his (Eastmans) fights. I recall him moaning to the ref and looking shocked.

I haven't been on this forum for about 10 years, there used to be some dude from Germany (Hellephant) on here that loved Eastman.

Against Dann, he just got caught at the end of the 1st round from a little hook to the chin, he didn't hit the canvas, but held onto Scott..

Watched it back and sorry, you're quite right. Thought his glove touched the canvas, but that actually was earlier in the round on a slip.
