From what I know of Dillian it could well be genuine but if it wasn't, if it was an attempt to get out of an inconvenient commitment I'd be pleased that he's finally wised up.
I suppose you can't blame Wallin's manager, he's got to protect his fighter's interests, but I did have to laugh when I read that he'd said the fight has to be rescheduled in fairness to Otto and the integrity of the sport of Boxing (yeah, like it had any) "Whyte can't be allowed to walk straight into a title fight with Fury".
Listen mate. Wait until Otto has been fukced about by the governing body for four years, breaking their own rules to protect the champion and deprive you of the mandatory slot, then when you overcome every obstacle they throw at you to finally become mandatory, then they allow your compatriot who hasn't fought for two and a half years to come from nowhere and jump in front of you after beating one nobody and one totally washed irrelevant fighter, and then make you wait a further two and a half years while he engages in a trilogy of fights with the champion they cheated you out of fighting.
So you spend all that time fighting and mostly beating, fighters in or around the top ten in the world until finally it looks like you might finally get the title shot you should have got years ago provided you beat one last decent fighter who has done f* ck all to earn his chance, failing which he takes your rightful place.
When you've done all that Otto, then I might listen to your manager bleating about how unfair it would be on poor you.
Spare us the dramatics. Whyte got chinned by a shot Povetkin not long ago and then rematched a clearly sick one.
He's had more PEDs than a Russian Olympic team. I could go on, but now he's faked injury in a conjob on everyone who bought tickets, DAZN subscribers, Wallin etc.
And he's getting a pass why? If he's scared of Wallin I'm not sure what the draw in fighting Fury is.
You're clearly deluded if you think Whyte is scared of anyone never mind Wallin, but why take another unnecessary risk? Do what everybody else does and preserve your status at the front of the queue.
As for Povetkin, the man is a prodigious puncher who landed one of the best, possibly the best shots of his career. It's heavyweight boxing it happens, at least it does if you take on a succession of rated fighters. Most heavyweights down the years have known better than to fight Povetkin.
You don't know what PEDS he has taken or anyone else for that matter. Most take something so they say, and do you really think anyone who wants a refund won't be entitled?
You obviously have no respect for Whyte so nothing I say is going to change that. I'm not even sure why I wasted my time typing this.

Whyte has been caught with PEDS in the past, same as Fury, Ortiz, etc. I'm sure the MRI shows what it would show with most athletes, but not a sudden injury. He just realized he is taking too risky of a fight. So much for being so courageous.

Is that Dean Whyte there?
I respect Whyte in that I agree he's a top 5 heavy in the ring. But all the woe is me hard done by BS by his supporters is just ridiculous. He's been paid very well for years. And all the digs at Fury from Whyte supporters is ridiculous.
At the the end of the day, to this is most likely a fake injury and it's just tanked that card completely. So why should anyone praise these shenanigans.
I'm a DAZN subscriber, I was very interested in that fight, why should I be praising his business acumen for pulling out. This is not good for boxing.
No I'm no relation, I'm just someone who appreciates boxers who habitually take tough fights. I admire skills but what I admire most is a warrior who will take on anyone, which is why Dillian is someone I respect a great deal. He is a fool to himself though. He's paid his dues and more besides. Now a title opportunity is within sight he has no need to keep risking his golden ticket. Luis Ortiz hasn't beaten a rated fighter for six years yet Whyte is the heavyweight you choose to hate on ??? Funny sort of boxing fan in my opinion.
Wallin has done nothing deserving of a title fight and has no reason. to grumble. I too am a DAZN subscriber so if like me you pay £1.99 a month for the privilege, then neither do you.
I’m probably a bit slow to realise this, but Otto Wallin wasn’t even a qualified challenger (i.e. he’s not included in the WBC’s top-fifteen rankings) when the WBC declared the winner of the Swedish fighters bout against Dillian Whyte becoming the mandatory to face Tyson Fury.
So I’m hoping the WBC ignore Dmitry Salita’s pleas to force Eddie Hearn to reschedule the bout (basically forcing Whyte to face Wallin in order to get to Fury).
I’d much prefer to see Tyson Fury fighting Dillian Whyte next – it’s not as if Otto Wallin has earned his title shot.

He gave his explanations which were suspect but plausible. Ortiz whose dick is never out of your mouth, had nothing he could say. The point is nobody knows who is clean and who isn't. It's understood that most of them are taking something and just because you haven't been caught doesn't mean you have never taken anything. Since we don't know who is clean and who isn't there is no point dwelling on it.
As for questioning Whyte's courage with the resumé that he's got proves to me, if indeed proof were not already abundant and conclusive, that you are either a hater or a troll or a f*cking idiot. The only doubt in my mind is whether you are in one or two of those categories, or in all three.

I can't see any reason the WBC would order it. If Wallin was some huge draw with the potential to make them a nice little earner in sanctioning fees, then pehaps, but he isn't and so they simply won't give a flying fcuk about him.

I don't rate Luiz Ortiz at least the current version and have never said otherwise. His high ranking is likely due to his promoters, they must have some plan as he doesn't appear to want to fight the likes of Joyce etc.
1.99 is one thing but it is going to 7.99. Its not a lot of money no but it's the principle, the next 2 UK cards are now very poor. The truth is Whyte Wallin was the only decent UK fight in the next 2 cards. No Whyte Wallin = pissed off fans

Let's see Whytes mri for proof, shouldn't be hard. Think I'm the only one questioning it, you are dumber than I thought besides just being butt hurt. Why didn't they re-schedule when he's healthy instead of cancel? Too risky of a fight for your courageous Whyte.

I don't know if Whyte's injury is genuine or not, and I don't much care. Fights get cancelled all the time for a variety of reasons, including that one boxer has a better avenue of opportunity opening up. Seems to me you're the one all butt-hurt about it.
Whyte doesn't have his prove himself. He has the second best resumé in the entire heavyweight division behind Joshua's, whereas your beloved Luis Ortiz has beaten nobody of any consequence for six years yet has been gifted two title shots purely on a political basis. Unlike Whyte who habitually takes on tough opposition Ortiz fights journeymen if he fights at all, while lying about how the whole world is ducking him.
That is all I'm going to say to you on the subject because it's as futile as trying to convince Mao Tse Tung of the benefits of parliamentary democracy. You are not someone it's possible to reason with.

I never said you did, I merely point out that there are many other heavyweights worthy of your scorn and Ortiz is right up there. Dillian has provided me with loads of entertainment and made a fan of me. Sure I'd like to have seen him fight Wallin but he owes me nothing, and he needs to look out for himself because no other bugger has his interests at heart, certainly not Mauricio Sulaiman. What if he sustained the kind out cut that Fury got from Wallin. Is the referee going to decline to stop the fight when he should because of what is at stake? No chance.
I want to see him get his long awaited title shot and if as I suspect he comes up short against Fury then that's fine by me. Maybe then he can fight Wallin.
It is so painfully obvious it isn't even funny. No re-scheduling after Whyte's "sore shoulder" gets better? Hearn will now try to make the Fury vs Whyte fight, while Wallin is left with nothing. Maybe Whyte should go swim in saltwater.

Otto Wallin is currently rated 20th by the WBC, has never beaten a top-ten world-rated opponent and has already been comfortably beaten by Tyson Fury.
Dillian Whyte is the WBC interim champion, the mandatory challenger, has already been ducked by Tyson Fury and was initially installed as the WBC’s number one contender during November 2017.
Eddie Hearn offered Otto Wallin the Alen Babic fight on the same event the Swedish fighter was originally scheduled to face Dillian Whyte, but he rejected it.
So if we applied your logic, if Dillian Whyte ducked Otto Wallin, then Otto Wallin ducked Alen Babic!

guess why wallin did not take the babic fight?
may it have something to do with a 'slightly' reduced monetary offer compared to what he would've made versus whyte?
Even for the same money, wanting the Whyte fight for a chace to take his mandatory status is a no brainer. Besides, Whyte is a semi-shot gatekeeper that ran from an eliminator ordered by the WBC...2 actually.

Candyslim always showing up to defend his boy Whyte. Strange that anyone would defend that pathetic loser who deserves the Fury payday soso much right?
Wbc this and wbc that, if Fury doesn't want the fight then it will never happen and I for one hope that it doesn't.

idiotic post
Old shot Povetkin KOd him ffs. Whytes biggest claim to fame is beating AJ in the amateurs. Decent resume, but among a weak and aged heavyweight opposition.
