Turning your head away from your opponent, either to the side or bent at the waist facing the floor, prevents you from seeing your opponents’ blows.

A fighter can’t defend themselves against punches they can’t see being thrown.

Any fighter that intentionally decides to look away from their opponent during a fight (especially in the midst of an exchange at close quarters), has to be willing to accept the potential consequences of their actions, because they’re supposed to protect themselves at all times.

Ennis threw the overhand right a fraction of a second before Dulorme ducked and faced the floor - the punch didn’t change trajectory in mid-flight.
You're contradicting yourself. You're saying Dulorme couldn't see the punch because he was ducking it. Why did he duck then? And why would Ennis throw a punch basically at the ground? What was he aiming at if it wasn't Dulorme's head?

Have you read the official rule about rabbit punches? It doesn't say anything about turning your body or neck or bending at the waist. A blow to the back of the head is illegal because it can kill. If you believe rabbit punches should be legal in special cases you should write a letter to the rules committee. I'm sure they'd love to hear your opinion.

You seem to be responding to a lot of my posts.

A fighters’ responsibility is to protect themselves at all times.

This means not dropping their guard, turning their face to the side, looking away from their opponent, bending at the waist, dipping down low and then placing the back of their own head directly in the line of fire of a powerful overhand right!

Dulorme turned his head to the side when Ennis cocked the right hand and clearly couldn’t see what was happening after Jaron pulled the trigger!

Whenever Pernell Whitaker ducked blows, he bent at the knees and ensured his eyes were always looking at his opponent, because a fighter can’t defend themselves against punches they don’t see being thrown.

Anyway, Ennis' punch might have caught Dulorme's ear rather than straying behind the head. It wasn't a deliberate foul and nor was it a clear-cut rabbit punch either.

it landed on the back of the head, i dont think it was intentional and i think jaron was simply following the target as dulorme ducked, but its a fact that it happened

look at the photo, the entire left side of the back of td's head is covered by the glove

not a clean shot, it's an illegal punch, a foul, albeit accidental
