You're contradicting yourself. You're saying Dulorme couldn't see the punch because he was ducking it. Why did he duck then? And why would Ennis throw a punch basically at the ground? What was he aiming at if it wasn't Dulorme's head?Turning your head away from your opponent, either to the side or bent at the waist facing the floor, prevents you from seeing your opponents’ blows.
A fighter can’t defend themselves against punches they can’t see being thrown.
Any fighter that intentionally decides to look away from their opponent during a fight (especially in the midst of an exchange at close quarters), has to be willing to accept the potential consequences of their actions, because they’re supposed to protect themselves at all times.
Ennis threw the overhand right a fraction of a second before Dulorme ducked and faced the floor - the punch didn’t change trajectory in mid-flight.
Have you read the official rule about rabbit punches? It doesn't say anything about turning your body or neck or bending at the waist. A blow to the back of the head is illegal because it can kill. If you believe rabbit punches should be legal in special cases you should write a letter to the rules committee. I'm sure they'd love to hear your opinion.
