3G v Murata winner best be ready to step up too.
Munguia, how many qualifiers do you need? Andrade says come on down.
2022 is the time for some middleweight reckoning.
Andrade is ready. Who wants some?
I have no sympathy for any of them at this point. But, Andrade is calling out Charlo and Munguia and 3G and Murata and BJS. If all he is doing is beating Munguia’s leftovers, why does the Mexican need a qualifier? Andrade just qualified him.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑20 Nov 2021, 02:35 3g - murata winner should fight munguia
mall vs andrade would be cool though, both need to step up
id be more willing to be sympathetic with andrade's whining if he wasnt constantly fighting the losers to the losers, e.g. quigley was ko'd by taureno johnson (who mung stopped) and williams lost 2x to another mung victim. no way these were the best guys he could get. there is obviously someone on his team without much ambition
yup, even if he doesnt get an elite name, there are options a hell of a lot better than what he's been fightingpeter barlow wrote: ↑20 Nov 2021, 05:41 Needs to fight anyone top at 160 or 168. He won't get Canelo but the rest.
Charlo, GGG, Munguia, Benavidez, Plant
Even Jacobs or Eubank is a step up
Benavidez should not do a Dawson.apollo creed wrote: ↑20 Nov 2021, 05:22 Charlo knows he'd get outskilled by Andrade. Charlo is just waiting for Canelo's payday.
If Andrade wants to make a statement, he should call out Benavidez and get the fight made even at a 165 lbs c/w.
Benavidez should do this too.
I don’t think that is a good idea for either of them, nor the fans. If Andrade wants Benavidez he should go to 168. Andrade does NOT want Benavidez. Benavidez gains nothing beating Andrade at 165, besides eliminating someone from the Canelo sweepstakes.apollo creed wrote: ↑20 Nov 2021, 16:08 If they would do it at 165 its ok. Dawson fought at Wards weight class. Also Benavidez has no major title at 168 but Andrade has one at 160.
Talent and results should get you other belt holders, but not in Andrade's case. I hate fathers as coaches, period. Too much emotion involved. That said, put yourself in his place. His criticisms of others freezing him out and refusing to fight him are valid. Eubank Jr. wasn't interested, Lara not interested, Mall Charlo not interested, GGG not interested, Mungiau not interested, etc. Canelo was at the same weight of 154 and 160 and refused to fight him. Derevenchenko and Andrade have the same trainer, and he won't allow it.caldo2025 wrote: ↑20 Nov 2021, 17:21 Look, Andrade did exactly what he needed to do last night and what his critics were looking for. But his biggest issue is and has been marketing. Fans are so tired of he and his Dad!s whining. He’s got such a great personality and could be so much more appreciated by fans if they had avoided hijacking press conferences and crying at every live interview.
Talent and results dictate demand bc fans are smart enough to dictate demand. Guys like Andrade and his ridiculous Dad do so much more harm than good with these tactics. No one likes a complainer esp boxing fans of all fans. Shut up and let ur talent dictate who and where you think to be. Bc, if Quigley is the best opponent Hearn could muster for a MW champ of the world then the business model for this boxers career is broken. Quigley should never even be in an arena where there’s a MW belt even hanging around.
Well , you may be right. Also Benavidez vs Zurdo Ramirez would be a good one @175.ironbeard wrote: ↑20 Nov 2021, 16:37I don’t think that is a good idea for either of them, nor the fans. Benavidez v Callum Smith is a great fight, imo. But, I admit that I will watch Benavidez v anyone at 168 or 175. He is as close to a can’t miss action fight as it gets at those weights, with the possible exception of Joe Smith.
In fact, that is the fight I would love to see.
no idea. What do his opponents get paid..., he is undeniably a big risk, and his fights dont seem to generate much. And he acts like he is fighting the best guys available. More like he is fighting the best guys willing to lose for under 100 grand... Its a weak division right now, But you got to pay for the good fights..
Young fighters like Mung should take what he can, for a shot at the title. If he was confident about winning, bigger things come after. He wasn't confident of winning, and he's what, 37-0?gregregegg wrote: ↑21 Nov 2021, 17:33no idea. heard Eddie saying "Mung ducked his mandatory", yea, he ducked 25% vs andrade... i would too. Mung has more going on than andrade and is in the running to fight GGG, why would he take 25% vs andrade.
I normaly agree with the young fighters taking what they can get. But i think Mung is a bigger name, with more opportunity and more time than andrade... so its kinda andrade that needs to take what he can get. I also think andrade is a decent favorite in a mung fight. mung haas bigger things coming with or without an andrade win.Bandog wrote: ↑21 Nov 2021, 17:44Young fighters like Mung should take what he can, for a shot at the title. As far as Charlo, Hearn claimed a well document email offered $7 million. They also offered Canelo $40 million to unify at 160. Canelo made less in each fight than that after GGG.
I think both Andrade and Benevidez beat Canelo, and Benevidez beats Andrade.
Apparently Janibek Alimkhanuly wants the Andrade Fight, He just petitioned the WBO For The Fight, WBO will decide Tuesday.ironbeard wrote: ↑20 Nov 2021, 00:22 No more excuses. Jermall Charlo needs to nut up and prove thetalk he has fed the world for years.

Demetrius Andrade only defeated a timid Jason Quigley.
