No more excuses. Jermall Charlo needs to nut up and prove the 💩talk he has fed the world for years.

3G v Murata winner best be ready to step up too.

Munguia, how many qualifiers do you need? Andrade says come on down.

2022 is the time for some middleweight reckoning.

Andrade is ready. Who wants some?

3g - murata winner should fight munguia

mall vs andrade would be cool though, both need to step up

id be more willing to be sympathetic with andrade's whining if he wasnt constantly fighting the losers to the losers, e.g. quigley was ko'd by taureno johnson (who mung stopped) and williams lost 2x to another mung victim. no way these were the best guys he could get. there is obviously someone on his team without much ambition

I have no sympathy for any of them at this point. But, Andrade is calling out Charlo and Munguia and 3G and Murata and BJS. If all he is doing is beating Munguia’s leftovers, why does the Mexican need a qualifier? Andrade just qualified him.

Sympathy has nothing to do with it. It is time for a middleweight reckoning.

if andrade really wanted to fight the best, and was doing all he could to make it happen, i would feel bad for him for sure that it's not happening. it would suck to put everything you could into something, but through no fault of your own fail to get it.

but when he continually dips so low, pulling up garbage from the bottom of the trash can, its hard for me to believe he's really as confident as he talks....or someone on his team is holding him back.

pretty much all these dudes from 160-175 need to step da f!ck up tb h. even the guys who faced canelo were mostly beating mediocre pposition before it. they all just sitting around waiting for dat big money instead of going out and proving they should get it

Charlo knows he'd get outskilled by Andrade. Charlo is just waiting for Canelo's payday.

If Andrade wants to make a statement, he should call out Benavidez and get the fight made even at a 165 lbs c/w.

Benavidez should do this too.

Needs to fight anyone top at 160 or 168. He won't get Canelo but the rest.

Charlo, GGG, Munguia, Benavidez, Plant

Even Jacobs or Eubank is a step up

A good option, if Charlo doesn't fight Golovkin or Mung, or Canelo.

If they would do it at 165 its ok. Dawson fought at Wards weight class. Also Benavidez has no major title at 168 but Andrade has one at 160.

I don’t think that is a good idea for either of them, nor the fans. If Andrade wants Benavidez he should go to 168. Andrade does NOT want Benavidez. Benavidez gains nothing beating Andrade at 165, besides eliminating someone from the Canelo sweepstakes.

Benavidez v Callum Smith is a great fight, imo. But, I admit that I will watch Benavidez v anyone at 168 or 175. He is as close to a can’t miss action fight as it gets at those weights, with the possible exception of Joe Smith.

In fact, that is the fight I would love to see.

Look, Andrade did exactly what he needed to do last night and what his critics were looking for. But his biggest issue is and has been marketing. Fans are so tired of he and his Dad!s whining. He’s got such a great personality and could be so much more appreciated by fans if they had avoided hijacking press conferences and crying at every live interview.

Talent and results dictate demand bc fans are smart enough to dictate demand. Guys like Andrade and his ridiculous Dad do so much more harm than good with these tactics. No one likes a complainer esp boxing fans of all fans. Shut up and let ur talent dictate who and where you think to be. Bc, if Quigley is the best opponent Hearn could muster for a MW champ of the world then the business model for this boxers career is broken. Quigley should never even be in an arena where there’s a MW belt even hanging around.

Talent and results should get you other belt holders, but not in Andrade's case. I hate fathers as coaches, period. Too much emotion involved. That said, put yourself in his place. His criticisms of others freezing him out and refusing to fight him are valid. Eubank Jr. wasn't interested, Lara not interested, Mall Charlo not interested, GGG not interested, Mungiau not interested, etc. Canelo was at the same weight of 154 and 160 and refused to fight him. Derevenchenko and Andrade have the same trainer, and he won't allow it.

Belts used to mean something, but anymore they don't. Hearn claims some offers he put out were more than twice what they would've ever made, and still turned it down. Who's left at 160, not a belt holder better than Quigle? Zhanibek Alimkhanuly? The thing is, Andrade at 34 is at the top of his game and near the end of his career. The fans need to criticize the other top guys at 160, not Andrade's whining. I predict he will move up if the winner of GGG/Murata can't find their nuts.

Well , you may be right. Also Benavidez vs Zurdo Ramirez would be a good one @175.

Andrade vs Charlo has to happen next.

The thing with Charlo is that he's waiting for Canelo's call.

Andrade vs Esquiva Falcao probably would happen next.

Andrade vs Eubank Jr would be ideal to happen in 2022.

Say Andrade vs charlo was a pbc ppv…
what do you guys think a fair split would be?

What do you guys think andrades team is offering.

What do you think Charlos team would offer?

These are the only real questions.

I’d say 75-25, 60-40, 70-30.

Boxing wants to make splits near 50-50 too much because it sounds fair, but that’s not how business works. If a guy won’t take near 50-50 they are called a duck. The reality is, often the guy not taking 80-20 is just as much of a duck.

Like 3 or 4 years ago when craw wanted 50-50 vs Spence or wilder wanted 50-50 vs AJ..: these guys were asking for wayyy over there worth and that’s duck like behaviour. (Not saying they are bad fighters but they killed those fights at that time in my opinion)

no idea. What do his opponents get paid..., he is undeniably a big risk, and his fights dont seem to generate much. And he acts like he is fighting the best guys available. More like he is fighting the best guys willing to lose for under 100 grand... Its a weak division right now, But you got to pay for the good fights..

heard Eddie saying "Mung ducked his mandatory", yea, he ducked 25% vs andrade... i would too. Mung has more going on than andrade and is in the running to fight GGG, why would he take 25% vs andrade.

Young fighters like Mung should take what he can, for a shot at the title. If he was confident about winning, bigger things come after. He wasn't confident of winning, and he's what, 37-0?

As far as Charlo, Hearn claimed a well document email offered $7 million. They also offered Canelo $40 million to unify at 160. Canelo made less in each fight than that after GGG.

I think both Andrade and Benevidez beat Canelo, and Benevidez beats Andrade.

I normaly agree with the young fighters taking what they can get. But i think Mung is a bigger name, with more opportunity and more time than andrade... so its kinda andrade that needs to take what he can get. I also think andrade is a decent favorite in a mung fight. mung haas bigger things coming with or without an andrade win.

It would be mental for mung to take a fight he is underdog in for under a million, instead of waiting and seeing what happens with GGG, and mabey fight a legend and be favorite for few million. IT would be nice for him to just say fornicate it and fight andrade but as fans we can expect some risk taking, hard to expect blatant stupidity.

Apparently Janibek Alimkhanuly wants the Andrade Fight, He just petitioned the WBO For The Fight, WBO will decide Tuesday.
Andrade will be Happy about this as Janibek is Very good probably the best Andrade has fought as a Pro, He will be a good tough tune up for Andrade to get ready for the big fights, now Canelo will not be able to say Andrade has not fought anybody (Meaning anybody good) Janibek is good

Demetrius Andrade only defeated a timid Jason Quigley.

Andrade typically looks flashy and impressive during the early rounds, but then settles, becoming awkward, ugly, and occasionally vulnerable from the mid rounds onwards.

Boo Boo previously received plenty of offers to face PBC fighters, but rejected all of them.

I think he's been blacklisted by Al Haymon's stable and also Showtime.

And let's face it, who can blame them, because Andrade's actions have consequences.

Sometimes you have to appreciate that you can no longer cross bridges you previously burned.
