Agreed.
Agreed.
Disagree.
Crawford's purse split demands for the Spence Jr. fight don't reflect the numbers he generates via gate receipts, audience figures and PPV revenue.
Terence previously claimed he deserved the lion's share. This is a huge stumbling block.
There's no fight to promote. And Spence Jr. and Crawford would be asked questions neither man could honestly answer, since negotiations haven't taken place.
And we don't even know yet whether Crawford is willing to work with the PBC. I guess that needs to be negotiated too.
Crawford is currently in no man's land until he's negotiated a deal with a network and a promoter.
I'd love to see the Crawford-Spence Jr. fight.
But I fear it might be too late and interest has waned.
Both fighters have been inactive and both are probably slightly past-their-primes for very different reasons.
I feel that Crawford beats Spence Jr., but (in terms of financials) Terence definitely deserves to be regarded as the B-side.
And the fight won't happen if Crawford demands a purse that is far greater than his commercial worth.
