Gosh, it wasn't as obvious watching the whole fight, but Teo's face from R1 to R12 :o
What a mess.
And the 3 right hands Kambosos took in the first round, you have to rate his chin as above average at least.

The very last exchange of round 1 could of been an epic double knockout.

What are the rules on double knockouts? draw? No contest? go to the cards if its gone long enough?

there was one (at least one) in the ufc and it was ruled a no contest

dude slammed his opponent hard enough to ko him, but then on the way down hit his own head on the mat and ko'd himself.. it mightve originally been a ko win for the guy who did the slamming, but they reviewed it then and there and ruled nc

theres also that famous ko between two dudes who land haymakers at the same time and both get flattened, but not sure what happened there. think it mightve been a british mma show

Only on the basis that Teo was DOMINATING the round and simply got caught, but not hurt at all, could one argue this, which also would be corrupt because he wasn't dominating the round and he did get hurt. There's no defending this

Officially, it would be 9-9 at worse... 10-9 on 2 judges' scorecards is corrupt

10-9 is fine.

It’s a 10 point MUST system isn’t it?

It would only be a 9-9 if the person who won the round was docked a point for a foul.

"I looked at the scan when I saw him Monday morning," Dahl said. "I just said, 'Thank God you're alive.'"
"I don't know how he went 12 rounds without being able to breathe," Dahl said. "But he has air where it's not supposed to be, and it's dangerous for him to get on an airplane."

Well if that is correct, then I think Kambosos would probably have lost if Lopez was 100%

Russian legendary amateur boxer Alexandr Lebziak had the same injury twice. He suffered it shortly before the 1992 tournament and in the process of the 1996 one. He healed it in 1992 while he was forced to abandon the final stage of preparation to the Olympics. He fought several fights with this injury in 1996. He wasn't able to make it to the medals both of times. It was at middleweight. In 2000 Lebziak won the light heavyweight Olympics. Weight cut is a helluva thing. Lopez will move up.

Same.
If he can make weight it seems the best career move to try and recapture his belts, the alternative is Taylor at SLW and I don't like Teo's chances there, as much.

If he shows that his condition caused his lackluster performance he's reestablished as one of the best in the division.

Btw, Lomachenko had shoulder surgery right after Lopez.

We know that. But that lung thing is more seriously impactful. Shoulder injury wasn't enough to stop him from fighting, just needed surgery afterwards. Not breathing makes fighting very difficult.

Sure, the lung one was more severe. Just it appeared to be that both Lopez and Kambo had conquered the injured champions. I guess, Loma beats the Aussie quite handily.

I'm taking it with a grain of salt for now, it is a saving face move, if true or just clever PR we don't know for sure.
But it does detract from the loss and his and pappys stupid comments and behaviour.

eh, so many boxers after losing suddenly have some awful injury, teo got dropped on his ass in round 1 too, was that cause he was sucking wind?

but how is his elbow that wont let him throw his right hand?

lol you guys buy this stuff that easy?

the doctor says that teo couldnt breath for 12 rounds, which is obviously incredibly stupid and not credible at all. he wouldve been unconcscious within a couple minutes and dead a few minutes later if that were true.

at no point was he visibly suffocating or wildly gasping for breath. he was fresh enough to talk mad sh!t as soon as he lost too. who talkes mad sh!t when they haven't breathed for like an hour lol? zhang zhilei was said to have kidney failure and be near death vs jerry forrest. maybe fighting on dazn is whats killing these cats
