I don't think the illegal shots were a huge factor, the writing was on the wall.
I disagree i think they were a massive factor, was taking a knee because he was a bit overwheelmed and slightly hurt, then got hit with some stunner last one was crisp and unexpected without that he could of survived and recovered in my opinion.
But, i dont think it matters if he was going to win or not, to me even if its the last min of the last round and the sheeraz is up by 10 rounds, you commit a foul that blatent and it baddly hurts someone (to a point where it should be stopped) i think you should get DQ'd. Even if you were seconds from victory the foul is DQ worthy.
You can't call a DQ or a NC every time there is a foul. The ref handled this one perfectly.
Handled perfectly is never something I thought I would read regarding the refs performance last night. Should have been a straight DQ.
He basically KO’d him whilst he was on the floor not defending himself because he knew he had been schooled and was about to lose.
I should say 2/3 free shots on a defenceless boxer definitely changed the outcome of the fight.

Nevermind. Just realised Ricky is a troll. Won’t feed him anymore.
Ricky calls it how he sees it and has no problem fighting his corner
Have no problem with that. Good for him. Just amazed how anyone can defend what happened last night. I can’t condone any fighter getting hit when on the floor defenceless. But if that’s what he thinks, good luck to him.

My guess is Sheeraz would’ve stopped him anyway but that’s irrelevant, it’s a clear DQ win for Skeete. It should at least be changed to a no contest
We will never know mate. I would of loved to have seen what would of happened without the illegal shots. I feel Brad would have seen it through but we just don’t know. If there were no illegal shots and Sheeraz won fair and square, weathered the storm and found a winning finish, I would gladly tip my hat to the man but there is no place in Boxing for them illegal shots.
Some more fairly serious allegations from Dom here on Steve Gray including Gray told Skeete to get up or he would wave him out.
And Gray told Ingle to shut up when tried to talk to Skeete when down. I can't see how even the BBBoC can ignore this and not call in Gray. Struggling to think of more obvious refereeing corruption. And thats exactly what it is.

bob smith probably rewarded gray's dedicated service with a blowjob instead
Saw an interview with frank trying to brush it of as standard and no drama. I know its his guy, but its also his show, you have to cal out trash on your cards if it happens. would of beeen going balistic if that happened with eddies boy avoiding DQ.
I don't see how the board can do anything other than change the result. After reviewing video evidence, how is Robert Smith going to spin it that that's just a point off? Will he say we all don't know anything? We've got eyes, though.

They may do their usual and hide and hope it blows over? He's not very forthcoming with interviews or commenting much
Ultimately I dunno if the board has the power to order a rematch as it was a WBO not a British title fight.
When Charlie Edwards was awarded the NC it was the WBC officials who did it?

We all know British boxing is corrupt, and they don’t even really try to hide it anymore. Nothing will change unless a proper investigation is done.
Agree, let's not forget this is the same referee that threw a towel out that was thrown in by a corner of a home fighter.
The refereeing in Britain is atrocious, usually in other countries it's mostly the corrupt judging that's the problem. But you never know what stunt these referees will pull.

The only thing you know for sure is that they are out to screw the "away" fighter.

How can he talk about prospects getting advantages and being shielded when ingle fighters have had been protected and given benefit of the doubt loads of times throughout the 90's 00's 10's now because he has a fighter who is on the decline or tail end of his career he wants to act like its all wrong? It is what it is imo,ye sad but that's what has happened throughout the history of this sport.
Simon Jordan brought it up on Talksport today (0:50 seconds in) and him and Gareth Davies discussed it, the BBBoC potential response. Fair play to Simon knows his boxing
