Oh yeah, I do remember from the Olympics to when I saw him as a pro and they said 6'7" and I thought they might have got the cm to inches stuffed up. He ain't 6'7".

No, I don't think they released them.
Both guys were in for a 50% share of the ppv take.
That ended up being £5 mil apparently

I can't find out any more and don't know how to work out the numbers from that, but I'm sure someone can makeca guess. It did do well in NZ, so I read locally, but again, no actual numbers.

Claiming Parker and chisora arnt names is just a childish lie. You can say you dont think they are good but they are defiantly names.
Lol imagine pretending Chisora and Parker are ‘big names’

Don't see point in this fight. In fact, I don't see the point in Chisora fighting full stop tbh, he's a gatekeeper that seems to think he's box office.

Last time:
Del earned 2.5 plus his share of the ppv take which is around £5mil.
Anyone outside of AJ and Whyte making that sort of money in the UK?

Fair enough, Del is entertaining and has a fan base, but really not sure why anyone would fork out for this. We already seen it, Parker won and it was rather forgettable. Del is 38 this month too, he's on the slide and racking up the defeats. Outside of the coin matchroom seem to whip up for him, what exactly is the point? The guy eats so many shots too, has had some brutals KOs, he'll end up damaged.

True, I forgot about those two. As for Fury, sure he would, but will he fight again in the UK? Maybe for Whyte if he fights again. I just don't know about him though. He has the potential to have a real legacy, and also to do what he did after Klitchko.

I like Chisora. Will watch this and i think he will probs lose then fight a Joyce or Dubois next year. Would watch that too.

Agree can imagine him being a Joyce opponent. Hughie Fury either.

I agree that it would be best for his health if he hung ‘em up. He’s still dangerous for anyone below the top 10 though, and he is the best earning gatekeeper out there; maybe the best of all time.

Chisora holds his own with pretty much anyone. But he losses the important fights.
Tough as hell and entertaining. But he is the highest paid gatekeeper in history. Nothing to be ashamed of but it is what it is

Mate no one at my local pub knows who fury or AJ are. But if you wanna belive that a guy with 10 losses and no world title ever makes 5 million+ a fight based on not having a name then you can belive that…. Might be the dumbest thing you ever chose to belive.

There is a decent argument that Del beat Hellanius, Whyte 1, and Parker. The second 2 could have gone either way and the 1st was a robbery.

Some thought he beat Usyk (not me)

Del has proven his worth

Chizza has given great value on the whole, yes there have been some stinkers along the way but he's a credit to the sport. I would say Chizza should probably hang up the gloves soon but the blighter is likely to get himself into more trouble outside of boxing, so probably best he stays in it in some form or other.

Cullen and the French guy. Both in their natural divisions; has there every been a bigger height difference at super middle involving a British fighter?
