I doubt it's signed and sealed, but if I were him considering the current situation and availability of opponents I'd be in training specifically for Fury from the moment I heard that Fury has binned off the Whyte fight. Nothing is going to happen in boxing in general for the next few months anyway, let alone for Joe Joyce. They won't be able to pay a decent name to get in with him and nobody will watch him headline against a binman: there's no undercard to stick him on either. You'd have to think, if you were him, that Arum has already thrown up your name as a shortlisted opponent, and Warren promotes both so it shouldn't be a hard fight to make. Fury's so flaky and a time waster that you'd be stupid to think it was a given, but it is a distinct possibility so long as you don't ask more than you're worth. Joyce-Fury is a decent fight. Or maybe Whyte-Joyce might get ordered for the vacant belt?

Joe’s got a broken wrist. Unlikely to be fighting in the next 4/5 months.Cyclops wrote: ↑24 Dec 2021, 10:01I doubt it's signed and sealed, but if I were him considering the current situation and availability of opponents I'd be in training specifically for Fury from the moment I heard that Fury has binned off the Whyte fight. Oh. Well, I'm not on twitter or Facebook and rarely look at Insta Gran, so I rely on this forum for that kind of knowledge. Yeah, f*cked for ages, then.maverick23 wrote: ↑24 Dec 2021, 10:03Joe’s got a broken wrist. He will probably get his mandatory shot in 2023.

I doubt Fury fights before June anyway, so the dates could work out in theory. The heavyweight division is a mess. The greats who have passed or are now in old age, must be turning in their graves/disgusted by these divas.maverick23 wrote: ↑24 Dec 2021, 10:03Joe’s got a broken wrist. You might be right but Frank’s talking March, June with Whyte and then another fight at the end of the year. Can’t see it happening though.Manchester Hitman wrote: ↑24 Dec 2021, 12:51I doubt Fury fights before June anyway, so the dates could work out in theory. The heavyweight division is a mess.
