It’s weird isn’t it. It’s been a while since both Dubois and Avanesyan fought - why is it taking so long to get something announced?!
I thought they really messed up with Joyce last year too. Crazy they only got him out once considering the exposure he received from the Dubois fight.
Well, for starters, Uncle Bob pays Fury's cheques, not Frank. The last time Frank picked up the tab was in Ireland against Pianeta and that was a loooooong time ago. The best you could possibly hope to connect Frank any of the fights since would be advisor.

Billy hasn’t announced his retirement and still has one fight on his deal with Matchroom from memory.

And no, Frank didn’t return big profits this year. The company that do the promotional activities has Frank’s sons as directors. It made £4m profit last year but still has an overall net liability position of £6.4m. The controlling party of the company is a Mrs S Warren. For what it’s worth Matchroom’s profit before tax was 5 times higher than that.
I would imagine the bulk of Queensbury’s profit comes from Tyson. Do they really do enough to justify it?
Due to the amount of times FW has wound up companies to avoid paying people I don’t think he’d be allowed to be actually on the books for it.

It’ll be interesting to see how it works.
Boxing will be massively down the priority list re: the sports BT have rights to. Frank seems to think any boxing on BT has to go through him but who knows. Frank’s a survivor so, if he’s not happy, will work something out.

I'd say Arthur-Yarde and Dubois-Joyce were good in house fights. And I never said he had the strongest. I said name five better than the ones I mentioned. Knock Canelo off that list as well.

Yeah - they were good in-house fights. But one was over a year ago - surely the shows the problem in his shows in 2021 that you have to go back further to find a second fight to mention?

It is what it is, he's got a limited budget and limited amount of talent.
Yes, it’s got to be the budget - as he openly says in his interviews, it’s difficult for him to operate shows financially/insurance wise with so much uncertainly.
It certainly isn’t for a lack of talent though mate. He’s got a very big stable - mainly of very promising prospects. It may even be too big, but at least these kids have an opportunity in the sport, especially as many of them may have packed it in during Covid.
The Fury thing must be having an impact on his plans, so hope that gets sorted quickly either way.

Because Hearn refused to pay what they were asking for, Sky/Boxxer had no issues coughing up although after how ticket sales went maybe Eddie is regretting that slightly??

Khan says Eddie offered more but he wanted it on a big platform. Who shat the bed? That judge? I might buy into the idea Arum and Fwank wanted to give Hearn the runaround, but I doubt Tyson was shitting himself. It's a very easy fight for him
