My youngest lad fought on one of his shows in December at the Roundhouse pub in Bolton, he's still got an interesting haircut. I wonder how many loudmouths over the years have come unstuck commenting on his hair.

i really think it goes down to if there is good boxing clubs in the area , i reckon if you put a good trainer which in the sense kids want to come and train you will get good fighters

Don’t be fooled by the hipster influx of recent years, Bristol is still far more rough and ready than somewhere like Bath, which does fit your description.

Redland was a nice enough area but there were some rough parts of Saint Paul’s I used to walk through and that’s not even one of the really worst parts. I worked in a pub too by the prison on Gloucester Road - another rough area.

It’s not too dissimilar to most other cities. I’d say more of the blue chip companies have a regional base in Bristol rather than Bath if they want a location in that part of the world. Not many will do so in Bradford/Sheffield as they’re fairly close to bigger cities.

2005-2008. Really enjoyed it there.

I haven’t been back much but stayed in the city centre there rather than Cardiff for AJ/Parker. It’s a good city.

Ahh nice. The period I went to The Empire was way back in the day - 1994/5! Lot of close friends in Bristol still and crazy to see how certain parts have changed.
