well chins are a funny thing. he did stay up in that torrid round vs maidana, yet got dropped by several lesser hitting guys. in fact i dont think garcia, crawford, or prescott hit harder than maidana either. wonder how amir stood up so well in that round 10?
i think his chin was pretty bad in terms of how easy it was to hurt him if you landed. but he did have good recovery and super fast movement also helped him get out of the way when hurt.
People forget the Garcia KD. That wasn’t a chin shot if I remember correctly.
That was an ear shot, which as we know can fornicate anyone up. I’ve not watched it back for a while so I’m going off memory.
Crawford dropped him one in rd1, seemed like he didn’t know where he was for a few seconds. Crawford was slick on his movement there.
He’s taken some solid shots in his career. You can’t stay up from them all unfortunately.
The Canelo KO would have dropped a dinosaur, never mind Khan.
Tonight we have the most unpredictable in British Boxing. So many ways it can go.
