That’s a tough sell. I wouldn’t fancy for a 4 hour coach trip back from this with a bunch of pissed up/coked up fans.
I think that's the only way they can up the crowd. There was loads left for Froch-Groves and AJ-Wlad contrary to popular belief.
I remember that Mickey - there was lots of Froch travel pacakages on sale for ages. So, that's based on the venue restrictions in terms of being licensed yeah?

All London events sell out when tout-bots buy up all the tickets for resellers. We all know how it works. The stadium will be full, not saying it won't, but the speed of sell out tells us little these days.

Will be interesting to see how many they’ve got through. 60-70,000?

Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte tickets sale slammed as 'absolute joke' after Ticketmaster issues

There were long queues as some were booted out of the checkout when looking to secure their tickets for Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium.

Fans were left furious this morning as long queues saw fans struggling to secure tickets to the Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte fight at Wembley - with some being kicked off the checkout as they waited to buy tickets. The queue grew as large as 150,000 at one point, leaving many fans inevitably disappointed with Wembley's capacity being only 90,000.

But some thought that it had been their lucky day, making it to the ticket section before choosing their seats and preparing to pay hundreds to confirm their spots. However, their still had been hurdles from this point as some had been booted out of the section as they attempted to pay for their seats.

Hundreds have taken to social media this afternoon after being gutted - thinking that they had their tickets secured before cruelly having them taken away from them.

Others had also been furious after seeing tickets being sold on resale prices for four times the original price. This coming just minutes after the original sale was went public.

Ticketmaster issued a brief statement on social media explaining why a queue system was put into place. They tweeted: "As expected, Tyson Fury v Dillian Whyte is super popular this morning. To make it as fair as possible, we have put everyone in a queue. Be patient and don’t refresh or you’ll lose your place."

Prices for the fight are between £61.88- £2,250 (including fees) depending on what ticket type and where in the venue you're looking to book for (via Ticketmaster). Due to the intense clamour for tickets, resale platforms were already advertising tickets, as early as 20 minutes after they went on general sale

Plenty of tickets on reseller sites and Ticketmaster platinum prices , nothing for the ordinary fans who can't afford the mark ups

It’’ll have to be indoors. These two can’t sell out a 50k plus stadium.
Mickey reckons Fury is bigger than Joshua, so it'll sell 80k easy. I'm surprised there isn't a Mega Stadium being erected just for this fight.
Mickey was correct. Mickey also warned you that Catterall was a nightmare for Taylor. I'm getting bored of this site.....

Frank confirmed 85k tickets were sold within 3 hours.

Regardless of who bought them, (customers, bots etc).. They've made their gate money..

Now Frank has submitted an application to extend the capacity to 100k.

Promoter Frank W commented: “I always imagined that this fight wouldn’t be a hard sell so I am happy we opted to stage it in the biggest and best venue in the UK. This illustrates just what a big draw Tyson has become, his personality is infectious and he truly is a champion of the people.

“He is also the No.1 heavyweight in the world and one of the most recognized sportsmen on the planet. I am thrilled that we are bringing him back to Britain to perform on the biggest stage of all against Dillian Whyte and a domestic dust-up that will be the biggest boxing event of the year.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the fans for their incredible support of this event and we will be in for some night on April 23 at Wembley Stadium.”

I used to like Whyte, but unless he pulls himself together quickly, I would chuckle if Fury smashes him to bits. He disrespected the media who came out to cover the fight, by not having the decency to attend the conference.

I have to say I didn't think this would sell very quick without a good undercard.

But I didn't think tickets would be as cheap. Thought he Bob influence would be squeezing every penny out of the gate, fair when youv sunk 40 million in. But I guess they couldn't risk not selling out and that putting a dampener on hype and ppv.

If your looking to maximise gate then selling out in 3 hours means you failed. Means you should of made them all more expensive... Add 12 bucks a ticket there's another million bucks.... If you can add 50 well there another 4 million....

Hope they can add to 100,000. Fwank would literally start levitating with smugness, after some gloomy years I love seeing fwank thrive.

Why would you fly all the way from Portugal for a press conference you were not contractually obliged to attend and would draw no benefit from whatsoever? Whyte would be disrespecting himself by showing up IMO and that's a lot worse than 'disrespecting' the YouTubers who are making a living out of his sweat.
