looked good here, maybe he's really made big improvement, but im not so sure yet. burton looked/fought like a limp noodle.

I was astonished at how Burton performed. Looked absolutely shot and gun shy. Absolutely nothing in his shots at all. Thought he looked ill tbh.
Looked weak as a kitten.

Liked what I saw with Azeez, looked good.
What is the thing where he drops both hands in an odd way in front of him though?

Showboating, once he found Burton's power to be not a threat. Big turn off for me. He was egging Burton in. Well that's how I saw it. That means to me he needs his future opponents to be stepped up. Too many knockovers and his head will swell too much.

I only watched the last 3 rounds of it, and thought it was a nervous twitch type thing.

not sure, burton looked out of sorts from the off, not taking anything away from Dan Azeez fought well got on top of hosea didnt stop, but i think burton was all over the gaf tried to stand and fight never worked . what about a Steven Ward fight

British Light Heavyweight Champion ‘Super’ Dan Azeez (15-0, 10 KO’s) has signed an exclusive long-term promotional deal with BOXXER and will defend his title at OVO Wembley Arena on Saturday, March 26, live on Sky Sports.

With 10 of his 15 wins by way of knockout, he has a growing reputation as a boxer who marries a cerebral boxing game with raw power and aggression, capable of boxing tactically or engaging in close-range firefights as required.

Azeez is solid but IMO his ceiling is Euro level.
He seems very one paced and flat footed. I'd pick Yarde, Buatsi, Johnson to beat him and probably outboxed by Arthur if he's on form.

But I've been wrong before. Hope BOXXER keep him busy and get him the right fights. Richards, Pitters, Rocky Fielding or even a rematch against Summers would be good fights for him right now IMO.

None of the lads at this level are anywhere near active enough , why are they not out 4 plus times a year ?

None of the lads at this level are anywhere near active enough , why are they not out 4 plus times a year ?

Agree. Even if you’re a top top fighter I think it’s good to be out regularly to help stay sharp and build a fan base.

Boxxer/Sky have the ability to do that with a smaller group of fighters so hopefully Azeez can get out 4 times this year.
