Brook is looking to be out in Summer..
Possible CEJ opponent..
CEJ should be out in summer regardless, having fought in Jan.

Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Kell Brook - Being Explored
100% agree. Should not be allowed to happen. Not only has Kell had too many hard fights and sustained career threatening Eye injuries, he is way past his best, and Eubank Jr is the naturally bigger man. Just my opinion
Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Kell Brook - Being Explored
Eubank was saying he made 160 easy & could do 154 if he wanted to after the Williams fight then Kell suggests 155 & all of a sudden it’s 160 or nothing.
The only way Kell should take this fight is if he drags Eubank down in weight. There’s no way he can do 12 rounds with a full strength 160 pound Eubank. He might have a decent start & land some eye catching shots but the natural size & strength would be too much at 160

Only way I’d wanna see this is it at light middle. Anywhere near middle and Chris is too big.
Can he make 154lbs?

Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Kell Brook - Being Explored
Then Brook has very little chance and he risks those orbital bones.
If Chris does 158 then he will come into the ring a light-heavyweight.
At 154 you weaken Chris and it’ll be harder to put on as much weight overnight as he would’ve been in pretty much starvation-mode in the days before the fight; a lot like what Khan wanted to do vs Brook but it backfired as Brook looked beautiful at the weight.
A weakened, drained version of Eubank gives Brook more of a chance and offers a lot more intrigue.
Chris making his natural weight of 158-160 I make a 10-1 favourite.
I’m gonna get ripped for that but fornicate you guys!

No, I agree with you. This version of Brook gets beaten by Eubanks for the reasons you set out.
Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Kell Brook - Being Explored
It's just a terrible fight.
CEJ is just too big and fresh.
IF CEJ was a raw novice and Kell was peak it would still be a stoopid fight !

Eubank isn’t a serious pro. Just cherry picking. Without his dads name he’d be a nobody

not into this one at all.................it's not a fight that naturally makes sense as far as the landscape of a division, how well the 2 fighters are matched, or any personal backstory

Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Kell Brook - Being Explored
@157lb i like this fight. I stand by kell has been a 154lber for the last 5 years... he just made 147.
People dont like it because kell got his face broken last time at the weight, But that was vs prime (or very near prime) GGG.... Mabey at the time the P4P puncher in boxing (plus a top 5 p4p boxer).... 2016 GGG would fornicating massacre 2022 liam williams. 25 mins into the eubank jr fight Williams was winning rounds.... 25 mins in against 2016 GGG he would be waking up in an ambulance and already half way to hospital.
Kells past prime but i dont think he will be as past prime if he isnt cutting crazy weight, if it happens this year @157 i think he is in with a good enough chance to make it an interesting fight. Id be keen to watch it.

Eubank Jr: Brook Walks Around at 180, Will Be Heavier Than Me on Fight Night
Chris Eubank Jr. insists that he won't squeeze down to 155-pounds for a potential fight with Kell Brook.
Both boxers are very interested in the fight, but they are unable to agree on the contracted weight more than anything else.
Brook, who last month stopped career rival Amir Khan at a catch-weight of 149, wants the contest with Eubank to be held at 155.
Eubank, who competes at the middleweight limit of 160, says there is no way for him to safely make the requested weight.
Promoter Ben Shalom of BOXXER would like to stage a Brook vs. Eubank showdown on a July pay-per-view date.
Brook fought at the middleweight limit in 2016, when he challenged middleweight champion Gennadiy Golovkin. The hard punching Golovkin stopped Brook in five rounds.
Eubank argues that Brook walks around at a heavier weight and rehydrates to higher limits on fight night, too.
“I like how people talk about how he could probably make it down to 155 if he tried really hard. The guy walks around at 180-pounds. He walks around heavier than I do. He fought Gennady Golovkin at 160 and got into the ring at 168 on the night," Eubank told Talk Sport.
“When I fight at 160, the maximum I put on is five pounds. He will be bigger than me on the night if we fight at 160. People are talking about me coming down to 155, that’s just not going to happen. I’ve never fought at that weight before and I don’t have that much weight to take off. He would comfortably make 160. Could I shave off a couple of pounds if I had to? Yes, but one or two maximum. 155 is not happening, 158 at a push. If that can’t be agreed on then we’ve got much bigger fish to fry and it’s not the end of the world.”

It's a PPV fight on SKY, I'm guessing Brook will go for this. It's for the most money.
Khan will go fight Benn to free it up.
Let's see.

Brook wanted £10m for Benn. This wont sell anywhere near as well as the Khan fight and Eubank will no doubt be wanting the lion's share and his dad will be wanting him to get the first pound too.Twinkle Toes wrote: ↑28 Mar 2022, 06:51 It's a PPV fight on SKY, I'm guessing Brook will go for this. Throw in the issues around weight and it’ll be a tough fight to make.

Eubank claims he enters the ring at 165.... well shit im all for not cutting too much weight, but if thats true then he can skip breaky, take a shit, and go for a 15 min jog and make lower than 158 which he claims is his absolute minimum he can make.Counter-puncher wrote: ↑28 Mar 2022, 07:22lol. something isn't quite adding up, here.....Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑28 Mar 2022, 05:54

Btw Benn said Brook wanted 10mil. I’d take that with a pinch of salt.

Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Kell Brook - Being Explored
Eddie said and Dom Ingle was questioned about it and said something like the fight would generate £20m, £10m for Kell, £2m for Benn and the rest to cover costs etc. He certainly didn’t dispute it.
