fury can sit down and beat ppl up when he wants though, actually quite a good in fighter. i remember the first chiz fight, he stood toe to toe with him and battered him at his own game with uppercuts and body shots. absolutely wrecked wilder when he put it on him rather than dancing away too. and grinded down cunningham the same way after his initial approach didnt work so well. maybe the most versatile fighter at hw
Its not so much just that she is a back foot slapper. Its more the long low arms, some weird little fury stutter step swerve in shots when shes getting cocky... For the record, my comparisons end with a couple of little movments that look simular. Probably not a coincidence, probably a few things she stole from him... I mean, at 130lb fighting jourynwomen you can throw in some things for style points.

Anyway, i hope they put Skye "7st. of Fury" Nicolson on the Benn card just for a laugh.

she's super negative even against poor opposition and has 0 on her punches, which for the most part are just flimsy jabs. i find that such a party pooper to have come on when im watching a card. ends up looking like 2 birds who cant crack an egg going through the motions during a 25 percent effort game of tag

tbf she's only had 2 fights, maybe she'll change it up or bring something new vs better opps, but despite eddie's hype and people finding her sexy , in terms of style and attributes she so far just has all the typical features that make women's fights hard to enjoy

wish someone would juice these birds to the gills, get them angry, and give them 6 ounce gloves or something.

No probs with Skye added to the card as long as a few more intriguing fights are added.
She’s going to be in straight forward fights for a while and I won’t be gutted to be missing them.

6 oz gloves, 3 min rounds, 8 round title fights, one Belt per class, and anything over 161lbs+ being heavyweight.

I got my Australian bias. As much as it isnt powerfull, i like that she picks her shots.... The type of womens boxing i hate is when they both know they cant hurt each other so just sit in the pocket and throw 500 weak shots a round. half messy half clean, all arm punches no defence... Rather someone actualy box with a bit of range and pick there shots a bit.. curious to see what levle she can do it to.

Press Release | Keanen Wainwright Wants To Face Campbell Hatton in British Title Scrap

Quiet and unassuming, Keanen Wainwright couldn’t be any different in the ring!

‘The Wolf’ can box, is clinical, and has very heavy hands evidenced by his record of seven wins, one defeat, four KOs. Tellingly though, the 24-year-old is knocking out fighters that very rarely get stopped – including well-known durable journeymen Andy Harris and Sean Davis, as well as ‘come to win’ fighters like Joe Ducker and Irvin Magno.

The southpaw is next out this Sunday April 3rd on the undercard of stable mate Tommy Frank’s British Flyweight Title defence against Craig Derbyshire at the Rotherham Magna Centre, LIVE on Fightzone.

Ahead of the night, the protégé from The Sheffield Boxing Centre says he would love to fight for the British Title by the end of this year … with Campbell Hatton in the opposite corner.

“I’m on a good KO streak at the moment and if I get another one in this next fight then I’ll start believing the hype about myself!

“To be honest, at this stage, I don’t just want to be walking through people because you don’t learn much but I’m never going to pull my punches because we’re in there to hurt each other at the end of the day.

“I do take my time in the ring. I never go in all guns blazing and am patient but when I do eventually catch them they seem to get knocked out! It’s funny because when I was an amateur, Glyn [Rhodes] used to tell me that I had to hurt people to keep them off – now, he’s telling me to slow down!

“The way that Campbell [Hatton] and myself are progressing as pros, at the end of the year that could be a massive British Title fight. It’d be a great fight between us, Campbell fought Joe Ducker in his last fight – who I’ve beaten – and he did really well. He boxed great and it was one of his best performances.

“I don’t think Campbell had much of an amateur career and he’s picking up loads in the pros. He’s still learning but the progress he’s making is great and that’s why I believe a fight between us towards the end of the year would be really good. He does get caught a bit though and he’d be in trouble if I caught him … but any lightweight would!”

Zelfa Barrett's European title fight on this card is off. He's pulled out injured.
Didn't Eddie say we were getting more announcements for it on Monday or Tuesday?

Honestly, what with all the rubbish about van Heerden being acceptable for Ennis but not Benn (deliberately ignoring the fact that he was a late replacement) and how crap the rest of the UK-centric DAZN is for April, in addition to how rubbish this card is, I'm getting tired of it.
Might cancel.

Neither of them are British level.

Probably should challenge for the English title in about 18 months to be fair.

I don't regret cancelling when I see cards like this a couple of weeks out and on Boxrec it is all TBA, TBA
Ya just know it is going to be crap.
For DAZN cards, I listen on the radio, if it is epic, then I watch it on YouTube a few days later.

That sucks, A Very Easy Euro belt there. IF kid galahad is in position to make weight on 2 weeks notice he should offer to take the fight on the card... Sure Zelfa wants to keep it for himself, rare you get an area levle fight for a euro title... Im sure Ed would be keen to keep the euro belt on the undercard, and Galahad wont have to worry about his chin... This Faroukh Kourbanov has less power than Katey taylor...

Never heard of Kourbanov honestly but looking into his record its a fuking weird one.... who at the EBU does he have dirt on. so many euro shots, so clearly mediocre..... lets break it down a bit:

-Got his first Euro shot after a bunch of low levle 6 rounders, and a 10 round belgium title shot. His opponents combined record at the point of his first euro shot was about 70-220, only one guy with a winning record (it was 7-3, but he has gone on to lose the next 60 in a row)

-Won a vacant Euro belt of a very weak recorded Finnish guy who was 11-0, The Fin lost a MD and then Retired.

- 3 Weak defences. Then Lost the Euro to Devis Boschiero.

-he Beat 1 Journyman in an 8 rounder, then got a vacant shot vs Samir Ziani, Which He Lost.

-he Beat a Can in a 6 rounder, Lost to cordina in a 10 rounder, then Beat the SAME CAN in a 6 rounder then..

-Then won The Vacant Euro in a MD off Nicola Henchiri who had just lost the Euro last fight in a 120-108 fight.

And that is where his carrer is up to now.... Crazy how there are guys grinding that can never get a Euro shot, but this guy Has "Earnt" 3 of the weakest vacant shots iv ever seen.

This card is a shocker, it's bad enough Benn fighting as main event against yet another fighter in their mid 30's with a soft knockout percentage.

This is getting perilously close to Warren's standard of cards.

As predicted by a few of us on here, the Brit fighters are getting spread to thinly amongst all these new promoters popping up. It was always going to be a cluster fk that the fans where going to be subjected to.

It’s still a fair way ahead of Warren’s shows. It’s got a decent European title rematch (McCarthy vs CBS) and whilst I don’t think it’s a good fight for Benn, Van Heerden is a long way ahead of Metz.

The rest of the card is currently poor. I saw an interview with Frank Smith who intimated a women’s world title fight would be added. That won’t help things either.

Let’s hope they can find a couple of decent fights to add in.

The rematch doesn't really do anything for me. If Billam-Smith wins, it doesn't really alter his prospects. If McCarthy wins, great, he's got the European title he already had before. It's an alright fight but that's all it is.

The Benn fight I'd be willing to give leeway for if Hooker really did pull out injured, because I don't think there'd be too many realistic complaints about that one. But with the big build up Hearn gives it he's setting himself up for criticism for any Conor opponent that isn't either a) a bigger name than Avenesyan or b) a similar calibre fighter.

Avenesyan against Metz was pretty shocking, but him and his camp seem to be suggesting they've got a big fight lined up in America (see his and Neil Marsh's twitter) and there's rumours that it's Keith Thurman - you'd get long odds on Benn fighting anyone anywhere near as relevant in his next fight, that's for sure.

The rest of the card's horrendous as it stands. Someone said above Lerrone Richards was going to be added?

I'm not a big Fwank fan, I'm pretty sick of all the Fury fanboys carrying on, and I was expecting Eddie to leave him further in the dust this year.
However, if he delivers Joyce-Parker (as is rumoured to be close), sorts this WBA stuff out with Dubois, and the Fury undercard's not a disaster, then really I'd argue he's kicking Eddie's arse so far.

Yeah - I agree with a lot of what you’re saying but I’ll only judge on what happens. Frank has done great with Fury/Whyte but it’s April now and his output is 2 poor shows with one good fight between them. Both Matchroom (mostly strong shows that few people know about) and Boxxer (great headline fights with poor undercard fights with top promotion from Sky) are doing a far better job.

Giving Chris is probably getting smashed by Benn easily and CBS/McCarthy hardly will give us fireworks, I fear it will be a wasted card.
