Well said Steve and good on you.

Honestly gents, I think it's for the best to let this guy have his space. My parents have a neighbour who isn't the sharpest tool in the box (to put it politely) and he has his own wee thing going on living in his own world...

I can see the 16 year old Eubank behaving like this before his bare knuckle brawl with Teddy Atlas at a ‘smoker’ night at Apollo BC Bronx. Atlas couldn’t put him over so bit his ear out of frustration, and Johnny Bos took Chris to hospital to have his ear looked at.

Bos used to rave to Mike Marley about Eubank come 87.

30m50s to 31m30s

It was @ this 30m55s point that Rosenthal realised this guy was staying around, this guy was going to win the Eubank Watson 2 fight

Some decent footage here of John Mugabi sparring Michael Watson. Spot Jim McDonnell, Mark Kaylor, Derek Angol...

bennie, Derek Angol was the easiest to identify wearing the white t-shirt and blue shorts (I bumped into him in a bar in the Old Kent Road years ago and ever the pro he was drinking orange juice).

Was Mark Kaylor on the exercise bike ? I couldn't work out if McDonnell was the one shadow boxing in the grey top and black bobble hat or chatting at ringside in the white & red hat ?

Also think Horace Notice was milling about at ringside and Dave Dent in the background, unless I'm mistaken.

Mugabi looked in control of the sparring session (and by his standards was pulling his punches). Watson wisely using plenty of movement !

Yes, Kaylor is on the exercise bike. McDonnell is standing next to Frank Black with bandaging in his hands. Yes, Horace Notice and Dave Dent are in there. Gary Mason appears at the very start in the background, hitting the speedball. The work ethic in the Royal Oak gym is incredible.

:TU: It's like a who's who of Terry Lawless' stable at that time !

I'll have another look, I completely missed Gary Mason.

I can't work out who the little black fella is hitting the heavy bag. He is a southpaw by the looks of it.

If anyone is interested, the stocky southpaw is Peter Konyegwachie of Nigeria. He would have come to the gym with Mugabi because Mickey Duff managed them both (and George Francis trained them both). Konyegwachie won featherweight silver at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles, dropping a dodgy decision to Meldrick Taylor in the final. Even the horribly biased Howard Cosell thought Konyegwachie had won.
Konyegwachie had previously won featherweight gold at the 1982 Commonwealth Games by chinning Gloucester's Pete Hanlon.

I remember that. A terrible, terrible decision, one of the worst I've ever seen.

Everyone was screaming for the fight. But Hagler was obviously terrified of the legendary Herol Graham.
