I think Josh Taylor is suffering from this. There was a lot of respect for his record, the way he won the titles etc - had a mare in his last fight and lost and got given a watch of a decision.
Now he may think he won it, that is his own perogative, but the way he's behaved since then is quite embarrassing and lost him a lot of support

Yeah. I love him as a boxer and his record is great but he doesn’t seem a nice bloke.Alba wrote: ↑19 Apr 2022, 03:15 I think Josh Taylor is suffering from this. I don’t have much issue with him thinking he won the Catterall fight. If I disliked every boxer who thought they won a fight that I didn’t then it rule out loads but he’s been sneaky to Jack since the fight which put me off him as it’s just not necessary.

Spill it Maverick23.
I don't do social, and I'm flip-flopping on Taylor this year.

It was something about how much Jack was whining about losing. Also had a fair bit of backwards and forwards with fans who said Jack won. Saying people should shove their opinions up their arse etc.Wee Tommy wrote: ↑19 Apr 2022, 04:10What’s he been upto that’s sneaky? He’d have been best off staying quiet about it as nothing good can come from it.

I remember that. Doesn’t make him a bad person. Anyone I know who knows him personally says he’s a good guy. I’ve seen many many worse decisions in boxing, I think the idiots goading him online should get a life and move on if I’m honest.maverick23 wrote: ↑19 Apr 2022, 04:50It was something about how much Jack was whining about losing. Re: Flip flopping allegiances.
didnt josh also have priors at nightclubs or something
i havent turned on him yet cuz he's still showed the ambition to fight a great run of opposition and legit beat all but 1, plus every fighter pretty much will get defensive and claim victory. but the way he reacted he certainly provided some ammunition for dudes to sour on him
heard he's into conspiracy theories and stuff like that on twitter, but dont follow so havent seen exactly what that is

He just doesn’t believe in the COVID vaccine and with all the lies out there who can blame him. I’ve been vaccinated but in all honesty I see it as pointless. I’ve known people become ill due to the vaccine and die of COVID after the vaccine.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑19 Apr 2022, 05:12 didnt josh also have priors at nightclubs or something

I agree with people badly goading him online - I just didn’t like him taking unnecessary pops at Jack.Wee Tommy wrote: ↑19 Apr 2022, 05:10I remember that. Doesn’t make him a bad person. Re: Flip flopping allegiances.
Yeah when you fight like an absolute chickensh*t. I don't care if a decision goes against you that you had an argument for. You'd have a better argument if you weren't a p*ssyLenny Cravats wrote: ↑18 Apr 2022, 13:13Thanks for the clarification.gilgamesh wrote: ↑18 Apr 2022, 12:04You definitely don't remember right. I absolutely HATE Andre Dirrell since always, and I thought he fought like a p*ssy against Froch and had no real complaint when he lost the decision.Lenny Cravats wrote: ↑18 Apr 2022, 05:50
Glad you changed your mind, Gil.
If I remember rightly, you were pissed at the Dirrel decision, I think?
Then he pulled his bitch move, acting like he went into a Coma from a Love tap against Arthur Abraham. Andre Dirrell is one of my most hated boxers of all time. I wouldn't even talk to that dude if I met him![]()

Can't stand Dirrel either. FWIW, I thought he beat Froch on points, but it was such a horrendous performance I couldn't bring myself to care it all.
