It’s a complement, actually, even if it didn’t come across as one maybe.

They’re both slick and polished to the point of making fights anemic. That kind of slickness that has no flair or added interest element to make up for the quiet understated dominance, and no nastiness behind it. Actually when I saw T Craw against Rick Burns I thought it was that kind of performance too, just a quiet but total shutting down of the opponent making them totally impotent

Let’s hope these two can evolve like T Craw did- although he seemed to be much more aggressive almost straight after Burns.

Not hearing about any random ped testing makes me wonder a bit. Being in Canelo's camp, who has strangely gained more power and enurance the last few years.

I hope the green tea thing doesn't surface again.

I think that this one is going to be tough to watch for us Oscar fans. I think that too much was placed on that Berchelt KO. Berchelt was very overrated and honestly shouldn’t even fight again. I see this one mirroring the Diaz/Haney fight. An easy unanimous decision for SS with very little wear and tear as a result. I hope that I’m very wrong per usual.

Have just mentioned this in the fight picks thread.

Odds for this fight:
Stevenson - 1/6
Valdez - 6/1

Surely it's a much closer fight than that?

And for more context, the oddsmaker had last weekends bout:
Fury - 2/9
Whyte - 4/1

I know Valdez was the betting underdog when he knocked out Berchelt last year, I don't know what the odds were, maybe not that wide.

Can he pull off another big upset at the top level!?

Shakur doesn’t run his mouth? What hole are you living out of? He’s got a yapper just as bad as the rest. Though he’s one of them yappers that backs it all up 100%. I don’t see anyone coming remotely close to beating this kid at 130. And when he fills out and eventually finds himself at 147, he’ll draw the boldest of claims and comparisons to the very best to have ever competed at the weight.

Maggie Thatcher doesn't like black boxers like Haney, Andrade, ect that are slick, or ones like Wilder that can punch. Not sure what she likes really, other than trolling.

lol do you read properly? i said that shak is NOT a big mouth, and that's what he's disagreeing with. how that comes off as me disliking shak i have no idea

i like shak plenty. constantly give him props and think he'll school valdez. dont mind haney either, both dudes challenge themselves unlike andrade

waaaaah, racism!!!!! such a crybaby, go send the mods another pm about me 'bullying you' why don't you

margaret thatcher wrote: 24 Apr 2022, 08:13 shak gonna show those sweet skills

i think for valdez to win he's gonna have to hurt shak early to throw him off for the rest of the fight
margaret thatcher wrote: 15 Sep 2021, 12:16 i really rate shak , excellent fighter even though he's not the most entertaining
margaret thatcher wrote: 29 Mar 2022, 19:50 Haney is a dude who wants big fights and is doing what is necessary to get them. He's not one of these fraudsters who talks for 15 years but fights no one
Both Tank and Haney are excellent fighters with great potential

Tanks seems to be a bit higher on the raw talent like power and speed, but Haney might be a smoother boxer. I think they can win at world level and shine.
margaret thatcher wrote: 27 Mar 2022, 17:49 nice .....haney showing what happens when a dude actually wants a fight badly. he certainly wont be one of these dudes who even in his mid 30s hasnt fought anyone

good fight :bag:

stop being a crybaby beccause not everyone hugs andrades balls. 90 percent of your posts are moaning about fighters ducking and now you're playing the race card, so its a bit ironic you're complaining about negativity

I was relieved to hear SS say he has been tested at least 4 times for the fight, so assume OV has been also. Clean fight, great fight. May the best man win! (I'd pick SS by decision, but may be closer than I think).
