It looks like your thread was split in two, the original one is still there, then this weirdly titled one was created. Mods going off the rails a bit

Why would you say its dodgy. You think amir Khan would send me a grand if he thought i was dodgy ! All the people that have donated know me. Because you got scammed. Don't tarnish others. Many people have my details to contact me.. I raised a lot for my diabetes uk charity fight. So its not that i have given so much to others. You dont know me. Anyone that has net me. Will tell you about me..
Has a diabetic , i thank you for your fundraising efforts , i'm on 3 tablets and 4 injections a day plus a weekly injection , I also know diabetes is not has bad has most make out , in fact the more you work and excercise with it the better it gets , mostly its a lazy persons desease , lack of excecise too much weight ect , but you would know that .

 Jesus Christ

Diabetes...The lazy mans illness, Just get out more!
Certainly is ,,, NOT IN 100% OFF DIABETICS , i repeat not in 100% ,, but definetly in a large portion of them myself especielly when i retired my diabetes blew right out of control i was on a colosal amount of insulin plus tablets ,, I was also not doing any excercise , becoming a couch potatoe and piling on the weight ,,, and became like a lot of type 2 diabetics eating shit , getting fat and lazy ,,, to be honest i told myself it was my reward after years of hard work and i am entitled to take it easy ,,, But my insulin imput ballooned 60 units 3 times a day off nova rapid ,, 120 units in the morn off solastar another injectin once weekly , and 5 tablets a day and that was only keeping my sugar levels in the 15-16 range

Got to the stage i could'nt walk far and blew ot to 128 kilo ,,, looked at myself , and knew it was my own fault , i'm never not gonna be a diabetic , but i knew i was bringing most of it on myself ,, got in the gym started walking , i've even gone back to do a bit of work ,, granted i just pick and choose work , and don't do more than a 2 day job ,,, but lost 28 kilo only 5 more kilo to go and i'm back to my pre retirement weight .

But most importantly , i'm down to 2 tablets a day down from 180 units of nova to 12 units twice a day , thats a drop of 156 units a day ,,, solastar from 120 in the morn to 40 in the morning and my range now is usually around 7 just slightly higher than it should be . I will add i've been diabetic most my life i'm always going to be its a trait runs right through my familly getting it was always going to happen controlling it was / is choice

What did it take , a bit of will power , loss of weight and getting excercise ,,, most people i know developed diabetes has they got older or fatter , or both , in a lot of cases simple excercise will cure it ,, Course like i say that does'nt apply to all , but certainly to a lot , hence its quite often a lazy mans desease ,

Have a good look around a shopping centre , bet you find most of the people especelly women with tree trunk legs , big fat arses , walking around shoving cakes in there gob drinking slushies and ice coffee , at the chippy for lunch or shoving double whoppers down with there litre of diet coke ,, well i bet you find most are diabetics ,, , i personally know 4 people who have bought gophers become bad diabetics and theres nothing to stop any of them walking except laziness and having the money to buy a gopher .

Nope stand by what i said , NOT 100% BUT by and large in most diabetes is a lazy mans desease , also the fastest griowing desease in the western world ,, also gonna throw in besides lazy mans desease , its a fat mans desease .. :TU:

Will say i met this great diatiscn , who started me off on the weight loss ,, diabetes specelist sent me to her , anyway she explained , it by and large is'nt the fault of lots , she went into detail about how food companies over the last 100 years or so have played with peoples minds on diet , and put grain (sugar ) into everything , helped condition peoples minds to accept and want sugar in there diet mainly through carbs .

She started me off on a horrible diet , or change of thinking has she put it , called the keto diet same has Fury went on ,,, horrible diet i could'nt stick to it , but when on it lost 10 kilo in 3 weeks , and it opened my eyes to getting back to a healthy diet .

Me my sugars are down , what we thought was athritis stopping me walking to far , we now found out is blockages in the Atora , so in next week, (hospital) stints put in then off comes more weight and lower sugar , can't wait looking forward to it ,,

I will say i encourage anyone and everyone to get it under control any means possible ,, my specelist told me often , these artery blockages and the two heart attacks i had followed by triple by pass , were definetly diabetes related ,,

So people for your own health and safety , get a good diet ,, lose weight and stop being lazy ,, in other words get some excercise ya fat bastards

Well most easy to buy stuff is all starch and sugar and cack now, I mean you can get diabetic and still be working two jobs flat out if you're just shoving whatever in your face to get by, especially if you look at the state of what they put in the food in America that's more than just laziness some of their food may as well be labelled toxic

Correct some people like myself its always going to happen , but diet and weight can certainly help control it , like i said the dietiscen explained to me about how we have been conditioned and brainwashed by companes spending billions over the years to convince us to eat shite ,, her biggest gripe was breakfast cereal aimed at kids and too be honest adults has well ,, ,,,

Go on, Eric. Or put her on the sick as well, after all she's been through, nobody will question a thing. The beauty of covid is they do it all over the phone and ask you NOT to bring in a sicknote. For all they know you haven't got one. It's a cheats dream. On the extremely rare occasions you would get asked in, ring up and develop a cough and symptoms and they'll soon knock that on the head.

I knew Eric in his heyday in the late 80s, where he’d be racing all over country in his motor, camera in the boot plus a load of vhs cassettes, he worked a bit for Frank Maloney as I recall, and was mates with pretty much all the main boys on the UK fight scene, getting tapes for their upcoming opponents, probably free or at cost. I used to exchange with him a lot, but he doesn’t remember now, I think his memory is shot.
He’d trade me tapes of the shows he’d filmed, fighters like Honeyghan, Michael Watson, Benn sparring Duran, that hadn’t been televised, and I’d get him overseas shows for particular opponents that he was after, for home fighters to scout. He’d turn up outside my work & I’d go out and we’d exchange tapes from his car boot …all very Arthur Daley ha ha.
I even filmed a show for him when he had two to cover one night. He complained that I’d spent a lot of show filming the ceiling, although to be fair a friend of mine boxed that night and got knocked cold in 30 seconds, so i was probably in shock

He’s a good lad, bit brash maybe & winds some up , but his hearts in the right place. Sorry to hear he’s hit the skids, times are tough, I got laid off in the pandemic too, after 30 years work, getting by on a wing and a prayer.

The Benn and Duran sparring is on YouTube and has 475k views on somebody's channel so they've done well out of it.

It's quite telling that we have folk accusing Eric of being fake, etc.

Do you think a proud person, or someone at this stage in his life would be wanting to come onto a public forum and share his situation? I don't. It shows how hard of times he's falling on.

Few tories, right wingers what ever you want to call them ,but absolutely cu nty behaviour.

Yes it was mate. It seems to have been changed back now since I brought it up. Very strange. Obviously someone did it but it certainly wasn’t me.

I see a good few folk have now donated so it’s been worthwhile.
