looking at the fella's accounts he's exactly the kind of desperate-enough chancer that certain types would take on for a job like this.

This is personal and it’s his wife so there won’t be any winding up of company needed this time to get his it of paying.handsofstone wrote: ↑15 Jul 2022, 09:03 Warren will be filing for bankruptcy no doubt, totally unrelated there's a new promotion in town called Warren Frank promotions, exciting
Will either be paid or she’ll have to claim bankruptcy which won’t happen.

Do the builders have a contract? - if so, who is it with ? (Eg the Mrs, somebody else or a company?)maverick23 wrote: ↑15 Jul 2022, 09:58This is personal and it’s his wife so there won’t be any winding up of company needed this time to get his it of paying.handsofstone wrote: ↑15 Jul 2022, 09:03 Warren will be filing for bankruptcy no doubt, totally unrelated there's a new promotion in town called Warren Frank promotions, exciting

Who owns the house? - eg. Frank, his Mrs, both of them, somebody else or a company?
Either way, the builders ain't getting paid.

You don't have to have a written contract to get paid for an invoice for a piece of work that has been completed in good faithbripez wrote: ↑15 Jul 2022, 12:15Do the builders have a contract? - if so, who is it with ? I have sympathy for the builders but I would be surprised if they got paid out (I genuinely hope that I am wrong).

Re: Frank-- (Warren's) wife is sued by builders for £1.2m for failing to pay up
I’d imagine the builders would have a written or verbal deal with Susan Warren as that’s who the claim was against - the claim wasn’t against a company or Frank. I’d imagine the house is in his and his wife’s name.bripez wrote: ↑15 Jul 2022, 12:15Do the builders have a contract? - if so, who is it with ? The only way I can see the builders not being paid is if Susan Warren goes into liquidation, which is unlikely given the negative press it’d bring. A couple of hundred grand to Frank and his wife isn’t life changing.

If the builder does'nt get paid , would imagine its right back to court ,, Her names on the house surely he could put a lein against the property
