Can’t knock the pace of the fight given their age. Del looked fuckedd after 3 minutes and how he fought effectively for another 11 rounds is quite literally beyond belief for me.
That might explain the lack of quality. Both fighters hardly stood off.

The only young fighter taking a chance in the last few years was DDD Vs Joyce and that nearly paid off for him. You can tell that nearly paid off for him because they ain't talking rematch![]()

Top of my HW prospect list is Jared Anderson (22)brilo33 wrote: ↑10 Jul 2022, 16:39exactly kiwi i like dd glad he come back , funny enough iam saying young ones i was kind of aiming it at fury 33 aj 32 usyk 35 joyce 36 wilder 36 ruiz 32 ortiz 66 haha all fairly old too ha your bang on dd 24 parker 30 Hughie 27KiwiRider wrote: ↑10 Jul 2022, 16:03The young fighters are all hiding from each other and fighting old has beens and never was blobs waiting for their unearned chance at the big time.

Even though I think he could beat anyone outside of our boxrec top 8 right now, sit back and watch him fight stiff after stiff for the next 5 years until he is 27
I could be wrong, but that is how the game works now. No one has a long reign because they dick around right through their prime. Look at Joyce fighting bullsh*t bouts at 36, Uysk at the same age- what is his legacy, or Tyson Fury talking retirement after only 3 top opponents
Ridiculous.

I know he loses at the elite level, but Chisora has a fantastic resumé and his fair share of top ten wins. Will we see another top level operator be so willing to face tough opponents like this and want another hard fight following defeat rather than a few soft touches?

A lot of fighters are waiting for the big pay off, it happened for Ruiz, but it won't happen for plenty.chinarich wrote: ↑11 Jul 2022, 07:51 I know he loses at the elite level, but Chisora has a fantastic resumé and his fair share of top ten wins. Some resumė from old Chissy. Still, he lost most of them
Re: Round-by-Round: Dereck Chisora vs. Kubrat Pulev II - 9 July 2022
I had it a draw (114 - 114) but I think Chisora was slightly up mainly due to his right-hand hard shots (or clotheslines on Pulev's face). He has deserved such a win after some punishing decisions; should stay away from Wilder.
Re: Round-by-Round: Dereck Chisora vs. Kubrat Pulev II - 9 July 2022
Chisora clearly landed the biggest shots, but Pulev was in control more and scored more. Anyway, the close fight is worse for Pulev, as he had been a favorite. I had him edgeing a bit, but I feel OK with any outcome. Pulev has blown it, Chisora made the fight.
