I have done shop work all my life and some of the things i've heard the women say would make your eyes water. Not all of them of course. But there are always a gaggle who have very naughty sides to them - always on about cocks and stuff.

Glenn has been found not guilty on all charges.
Re: glenn mccrory in court
Pathetic, really. Waste of time, let alone going to Court.
A certain 'Prince' can do whatever and blatantly lie about it, clearly and the Plod told us, outright, they would do nothing, let alone take it to Court and the scummy perv is back in the circle and the matter 'forgotten'.
What wonderful times we live in.....

really pleased to hear this. I know he's a tough cookie but this must have been horrific to live through the past year. It was over literally nothing but an arsey waitress. Let's hope he is rehired by boxing gigs. Poor sod.
His autobiography is worth a read for anyone wanting to put a couple of quid in his pocket, his love for his brother shines through, a great read.

Don’t expect the newspaper exclusives pay anything like they did but I hope he can earn well from putting the world to rights on the bullshit these type of cases are often built on.

Poor guy. What a huge amount amount of stress he must have been under.
With all these TV networks and YouTube channels, I hope he gets to commentate on boxing again. He's very good at it and a knowledgeable presence on the screen. As Coco says, Glen and Ian Darke were a fantastic pairing.

Re: glenn mccrory in court
Its terrible it went to court - how is calling someone `pet` and touching their elbow whilst speaking to them in public anyways seen as sexual?
Its about time anonymity is given to people accused of such things, in the same way as those identified as victims are given anonymity.
Also - those found to be making untrue allegations should be identified as those found to be guilty of such crimes. Because being innocent but accused of such crimes can be as life destroying.
Unfortunately Glenn McCrory will have sustained a substantial amount of pain already from this.

What’s the point in the CPS if they let things like this get as far as the crown court?tonyevs wrote: ↑29 Sep 2023, 10:06 Its terrible it went to court - how is calling someone `pet` and touching their elbow whilst speaking to them in public anyways seen as sexual?

If the ‘victims’ feel so passionately that they speak to the police then it the most that should have happened afterwards is Glenn getting a call from the cops saying a complaint had been made, it’s not going further but just be aware of it for the future.
Instead he’s probably lost out on a fair bit of work and spent a lot on legal fees.

Poor Glen looks to have aged with the stress of all this.
Totally unfair. The girls who did this need to grow up. They are hypocrites. When they want to they will go out to a club with hardly anything on to snare a bloke. Hypocrites.
Hope people rally round Glen and help him to get back into the commentating.

I think Glenn deserves redemption as he has been found not-guilty now and had his name dragged through the mud.

Re: glenn mccrory in court
You know in a lot of these cases its 100% the police at fault , Without going into too much detail long story , i put someone on too a lawyer , the case got draged and dragged , to a high court , because instead of giving in and pleading guilty he never,, he fought it , a guilty plea would of meant a conviction recorded and cost him his job.
Anyway on court day , the head /chief prosecutor whatever he's called , took over the case , offered virtually nothing , he got a bollocking of the judge for wasting courts time , , the lawyer , jumped up and asked for costs , and a reimbursment of costs , all awarded , with a telling off to the prosecutor ,
Anyway i was on first term names with the lawyer , and after i said to him its crazy , why did they take it so far , , he said to me , simple hrs in court , explain i asked and he said , it was a juniour prosecutor looking at building up her court hrs , and thats why she would'nt drop it even though she knew it was a bullshit no win case , once it went to a higher court her boss stepped in , and conceded it was bullshit ,
The lawyer who was'nt a mate just someone i had done a lot of work for said , thats the way it goes and it goes alll the time . he said on looking into it there had been 20 plus convictions for the same thing , but this was the first time ANYONE had actually fought it , others had all just copped a conviction and paid the fine with no fight .
OK i've gone this far if youv'e bothered to read i'll tell you . Market stall , near xmas , guy on market stall who happenned to be a ex cop anyway , was selling plastic toy guns , but because they fired little foam beans over 3 foot , you had to supply name adress , when you bought one they were bright orange , plastic things .
Anyway after he bought 3 one each for his kids some months after they were made illigal because they fired a projectile , foam bean or not ,, fast forward months , ploice visit stall holder , get the adress off everyone who boght one and commence going to there houses , they asked if he owned them he said sure there in the toy box 2 actually broke , they confiscate him and charge him with possesion of illigal firearms .
Joke right , yeh except a conviction for firearms of any sort would cost him his job , so he pleaded not guilty coud'nt afford a lawyer and felt he was in deep deep shit , he was worried for months , i camer to the rescue , i done a job for the lawyer and come to an agreement represent him no charge jobs free , he done me a favor all was good ,
But the whole lot was caused by an exurbrent juniour prosecutor looking to up her court hrs , fooking disgrace
